Please address the hitboxes!

Dear Devs,

I know you are working hard in the background to bring us new exciting things. I really appreciate. But there is one thing that gets worse and worse with every update, often even small ones. My llamas, for example, where perfectly fine using their shelters prior to whatever small update was last. Now they can't.

The arches are large, the walls are high. I know currently the restrictions are due to the animals technically needing to do a cartwheel through every door, because that's how it is calculated (spin around completly), but why is it getting worse and worse?

On a side note: The same goes for the traversable area, as I tweeted here

While we get so much more options in free update to build for guests, like restaurants and shops without a shell and such, actually playing the game unpaused is becomming frustrating, because the animals get stuck with every new update and you always have to rebuild so many habitats. And I honestly don't want to build a fabric hall or a skyscraper, when my llamas need a shelter. Please make this a priority.

I can only imagine how this would end up if we technially ever get the sky as another dimension... Birds with aviaries only flying 30 cm above ground, because the overhead netting is "only" 10 m high.

Yeaaahhh...I made my post regarding this issue years ago and it got worse instead of better. Great! I know why I like my mods so much...
There still isn't a standalone mod that only changes this, is there? I know the cool giant mod, but I don't want all the other changes.

Yeah, I don't get why they're making the hit boxes (and also, animals escaping when they couldn't before) worse, when they're also giving us so much more stuff to make complex, interesting habitats. It's almost as if they really aren't thinking through the idea that if a game is supposed to focus on the animals and their habitats/care etc, making it so we can't do anything but the most simplistic, clumsy structures and habitats for them isn't going to encourage better engagement with the animals.

I don't get the allergy to a little clipping. I know it's a bit no-realistic but anyone who plays computer games learns to tolerate it.

I wonder about the makeup of the current dev team; they're doing great (and man, I am not complaining) about making adjustments/corrections/additions to building items but seem to be ... less invested in the animals.

The standalone was integrated into that big one (which I'm leery of too) and I'm not sure if the Modder is continuing to update it separately from the large one.

I mod my own files so they fit how I enjoy playing the game most ^^

Though, I also uploaded a smaller hitboxes mod that changes nothing but that and it's completely independent form that giant mod a while ago. I actually didn't even know that other one existed at the time and even though it does something similar for hitboxes now as well, I kept updating mine anyway since so many people don't want all those other changes.

I need to remember this the next time I have Eurasian Lynxes fighting for no reason. I've been assuming that it's a calculation error of still counting maturing kids that have already been moved to the trade center several minutes before, but now it occurs to me that another possibility may be that they may have stumbled into some part of the habitat where the building or enrichment items are making them register as not having enough space.

As I already mentioned so often, I miss the Beta-Hitboxes that we're just as big as the Animal itself. Llamas should really fit through a normal Doorframe (and I think they also did in my Zoos).
The Problem with the Hyena Enclosure reminds me of that one Time in my japanese Zoo when I've needed a Eternity to figure out why the Bears couldn't enter their Cave. I've built Ramps up the Mountain, adjusted the Width of the Cave and the Ceiling Height, just to figure out that they were too stupid to walk down the small Height Difference that was literally just around 1-3cm🤦‍♂️
If it's really getting worse, I don't want to know what the Arctic Wolf Enclosure in my Wolf Park is like now and how many Enclosures I will need to fix once I can play again

So has it been getting worse then? I wonder if Frontier have been trying to reduce performance losses caused by the game calculating navigable areas constantly.
