look ay Freelancer and Starlancer![]()
I would but, y'know, the company that made them closed 5 years after releasing them.
Is that better, or worse, than how FDev has managed the Elite franchise?

Port EDO to Unreal Engine... It will be much better....
And how I can be positive? I allways see only how ED is dying. Stocks falls down, players are leaving, in game story is gone, schedules are more and more bigger, moderators dont want talk with us via streams, developements are canceled, Drew Wagar is gone,... I want to be positive but how coud I?and?
Step one to being more positive will be to not watch that persons content. And how I can be positive? I allways see only how ED is dying.
Hardly surprising is it though with the world being in a mess for quite some time and only getting worse. As to Frontier itself they've delayed two titles and Ody launch was terrible so again hardly surprising that stocks are down.Stocks falls down,
Happens with literally every single game ever.players are leaving,
It's really not.in game story is gone,
schedules are more and more bigger, moderators dont want talk with us via streams, developements are canceled, Drew Wagar is gone,... I want to be positive but how coud I?

Yes, it's unfortunate and cynical that the algorithms favour outrage and negativity over everything else.Click bait = $$$
Merit value of the content doesn't matter.
It works quite well (for "content" creators), evidence above.

And the first thing they (and yes, probably I would do if it were me) is charge a monthly fee to play. They certainly don't make money on ARX, do they? I haven't purchased ARX in over a year. Any corporation purchasing ED is going to want a return on investment. Yes, they'll lose a bunch of current customers that only want to play for free, but they may gain more as the monthly fee would (in theory, anyway) (1) pay for more robust servers resolving instancing issues and (2) pay for programmers to resolve bugs, fix issues, and provide more content.Frankly, anybody who's got the cash lying around AND doesn't mind to inherit a HUGE technical headache would likely roll up their sleeves and charge the consumer base right and left. Corporations are not charities, they want to earn money, and sinking many thousands of hours into a project demands that money be made.
I live in Canada, and sadly, I can just go outside during the winter to see homeless people doing the same thing. It breaks my heart.Well I watched a bloke camp for a night in -20c using nothing but a sleeping bag and bubble wrap so I'm not sure that's an algorithm winner but there is good stuff out there that isn't outrage or negativity.
the products were fully completed so i think thats a plus, ED although playable is still not a 100% finished product as FDEV are still developing it.I would but, y'know, the company that made them closed 5 years after releasing them.

not always true look at "Bus simulator 21" for a game that uses Unreal engine the wrong wayNext up on the list of suggestiosn to improve:
