Remove your crime system, when you are not able to implement a working one

Your stupid game made screenshots in format .BMP, but your forum doesn't support them!!! 🤬

I got a fine on station HIP81294 Sublime Sanctuary

I am docked on this station in HIP 81237 controlled from HIP 81294 Sublime Sanctuary!!!

So, and where I have to pay the fine?????? I have to fly to HIP 81237?????

In this game some simple mechanics don't work correctly. It's absolute terrible. How often missions still failed because of stupid bugs.
And there are so many absolute stupid details and design decisions that won't work correctly.
Why I can't pay that on the station? I have to fly to another system to pay the fine for this station?????

Sorry, but rework the whole game.
To chancel the console Version was your best decision. Your company is absolute overhelmed with this game.

Valve should remove your game until it's in a finished state. My opinion. But your game is still in beta.

By the way, I got this fine because I had e-breach in my inventory. So, I got the fine on nearly each station except a few one who sell them.

So, and now tell me, how I can remove them when I am in space?
I can't sell it on station where I bought it. I can only buy it.

The only way I found to remove them is landing on a planet, got out of the ship take 2 e-breach and leave it. And then the next two and so on....

sorry, but this is..... I have no words for this stupid design.

Best way is to delete the game and show again in two or three years. But I am not very confident in this game.

Thinking, use your head. ;)

When Valve remove it from their store, the game is not offline, but frontier maybe wake up and run. Because it's no more money from valves store.

Crime and punishment in ED is well, I guess the best we can say about it is "they tried".
Odyssey is poorly optimised
Engineering is a grind
Space is big.

Tune in later for more fascinating facts !

You do not get a fine when purchasing an E-breach from a station. You do not get a fine when the E-breach is in your ship inventory. The ONLY way you get a fine is when you carry it in your backpack when on foot. When you disembark from your ship or SRV, by default no E-breach would be in your backpack. You have to actively transfer it to yourself from your ship / SRV, a warning message is also displayed. You obviously had an E-breach on you and you were scanned. This is how it is meant to work.
Now you have learnt from your mistake, move on....

As for paying the fine, re-log and check again. Simple.

Kinda like seagulls, huh?

They come flying in out of nowhere.
Flap their wings and make a lot of noise.
Leave droppings all over the place.
Then fly away.

.....the UI language in the screenshots.

My god that UI is disgraceful (2nd screenshot). I sort of completely zoned out from the OP's complaints as my eyes fell on the horrors of what i guess would await me if i played Odyssey in terms of UI. I have no words.

(.....to fully express my disgust!). I forgot them ;)
In all seriousness, it did take me a little while to get used to the new UI. Quite honestly, now that I'm used to it, going back into Horizons feels dated and I can't stand the old UI.

I think a lot of is simply that we're creatures of habit and don't like change. It's kind of like upgrading one's operating system... painful at first, but ultimately loads better.

It also took them a patch to fix a lot of the big issue the UI had.

I have 2 major complain. The icon based galmap is bad. I need the tooltip to find what I'm looking for. Horizon was text based, and as such, easier to use.
Plotting a FC jump with it is often a big problem. You sometimes auto-plot when you search for the system, which close the map in turn. So you need to open it again, cancel the jump (close the map), open the map, search the system (and hope it won't auto plot AGAIN). The whole process can take several try until you are able to see the system and not auto plot a course.

Good to know they listened to community feedback.

I've only accessed the galaxy map a couple of times in Horizons, and it seemed clunky to me - but again, probably just because I'm used to the new one. I haven't experienced your particular issue with auto-plot, but I have had some issues trying to use my flight stick rather than mouse to select from the list of systems that appear once one types in the first few letters of a destination.

E-Breaches have to manually be placed in your personal inventory (as they are illegal). They will stay in your personal inventory until you manually remove them.
Just because you forget to remove them is nobody else's fault but your own.
Maybe a little advice would be check your personal inventory before you leave your ship.

Not a creature of habit (but modern day post Windows 8 GUI educated designers are!) at all, i just like informative screens that impart information clearly (easy to 'read' and parse). That is my litmus test, and sadly the modern 'tile' design that has been created for small mobile devices or cursor/selection movements with a joypad (console controller) are terrible at this. Even MS (that 'created' the style for Windows 8) rolled back the design on later OS versions.

It is very much something that would stop me wanting to play ED (as it stopped my staying with Windows after Windows 7, for non gaming) sadly.

I got the fine during landing on the station. I was scanned and immediately I got the fine because of illegal freight.

My freight are some limpets, one Consumer Technology and the freight from odyssey addon. Including the e-breach.
The e-breach was the only one which is marked as illegal in this system.

You can believe it or not. This is absolute pointless, and the worst is, where I have to pay the fine? I don't want to waste my time for searching after that.
In this game are so many fails that only waste time.
