for me it is also obvious that the seating mechanics and the fleet carrier onboarding mechanics are preparing the In-Ship walking and seating

I imagine you can, if the owner let everyone land. I know there is a special elevator for the VIP part of the bridge, that might be locked ? But everything else should be open.
You should report that as a bug, I'm not sure if it's intended.
I might have misread it, but I think I understood that if in wing you can go on the bridge to jump. Don't hold me to it though!
We have 2 part of the bridge. The lower deck, which is seemingly accessible by all, and the upper deck, accessible through an elevator and with a "restricted" panel. This is where the "captain chair" is, and the captain NPC console. The upper deck is directly above the lower one, so you can spit on the peasants below.
I think the lower deck is open to all (landing restrictions may apply), the upper deck might not be.
there is a solution to thw VR issue, mobile bar stools. As the VR implementation works perfect when seated its the best of both worlds we can walk around as we do now but when ya want to look around in VR just whip put thw stool and sit.

Mhh, let's expand this idea. Stick a bar stool under the CMDR bottom at all time, so we can have full VR. I imagine it can be done with enough space duct tape.
