Frontier after the camp cretaceous dlc and the update my jwe2 on my ps4 when I get in sandbox mode it still keep crashing so I can’t tell if you guys lied to me or you don’t know of this?

I Can’t wait for another mouth of an update guys please help me out cause I really want to get this done by creating my theme parks and my Dino kingdom in the sandbox mode I don’t know does this keeps happen to me on my console

While we did release a number of different crash fixes with Update 2, we are aware that there are still some crash issues on PlayStation 4. The team is continuing to investigate this.

Just to check, is it crashing in a specific Sandbox Mode map, and does it crash when you try to load or after a few minutes of playing? Can you start up a new Sandbox Mode map?

It’s just every time I get in the sandbox mode It keeps crashing and yes I do save before it crash, it keeps crashing on isla nuclear 1993 cause I’m trying to recreate the five deaths from jwe1 by making my theme parks on nublar 1993 and isla sorna site b and last but least isla nublar 2015 that is where I create my Dino kingdom by pudding all the dinosaurs from Jurassic world 2015 to fallen kingdom 2018 and to camp cretaceous and soon Jurassic world dominion that is my plan, that is my destiny to begun king of Jurassic world evolution 1&2. But I need to know how long will this take before the team solve the problem of the crashing issue on my ps4 console?

I think you may have misunderstood, so I'll ask again: is it crashing when you're trying to load an existing park? Or does it crash whenever you try to create a new Sandbox Mode map?

I don't know what's causing these crashes either, but I'm trying to figure it out. If you could please answer my questions, I can send that information back to the developers so they can look into it further

This is what I’ve been doing in the sandbox mode Jen’s um I can’t tell why my game is crashing. When I see my game lagging for a bit I do an auto save before I save and then after the crash then I save so could be the save files or to many buildings I don’t know that’s all I know is when I get in this map it starts lagging for a bit and than it crash like that’s all I know and then after I finish this map than I go to the challenge mode on hard mode but not on Jurassic mode so I can unlock all of the patterns cause one of those patterns is part my plans of how I want dinosaurs look. I’ve got the update today and I thank you for that but I can’t tell if this update solve my problem but I’ll let you know ok

You have a lot of buildings in your park, so that may be the reason why your console is struggling to keep the game running solidly. You may need to remove some of the buildings, because it's likely your console is running out of memory.

I registered and am posting to your thread because my game is crashing as well, except I am on Xbox Series X.

This is actually my second park I have created in Sandbox mode that I can’t enjoy anymore because it crashes within a minute or two of loading up.

I would like to know if you, Frontier, are going to do anything to fix this issue? I was going to email you but your website asks us to leave the contact portion for business inquiries.

I absolutely love this game but I am really not happy now that I have spent ten plus hours building TWO parks in sandbox mode and cannot use either now because the game is too much for the Series X to handle.

I deleted my first park I built in California because I thought something was wrong with the save file. Judging by your above response, I should just delete buildings but that will do nothing to solve the problem AND it would be difficult at best to get to 5 stars when you can’t build enough shelters, amenities, restrooms, and other enclosures because the game I bought for my console cannot run properly on my console.

I have to say I was relieved to find someone else had this issue until I saw Frontier’s response, and I am hoping there will be a better solution.

Hello! The team looks into any and all crash reports that happen, whether they're console or PC related. If you have any additional information about your specific situation and how these crashes appear to be occurring, it will help our QA team build a test case. If you have anything to share (how old the console is, how often it seems to crash, if it's crashing at specific moments, if the game is installed on an external or internal drive, etc.), adding a report in our Issue Tracker will help a ton: issues.frontierstore.net

The suggestion to delete buildings was specific to the case in this particular thread, as there are a lot of buildings in their park. They're also playing on a different console, so their crash issue may be different to yours.

We're doing our best to try to help, so we appreciate your patience

Since the first time it happened I deleted my park and started over. Ten plus hours lost.

Now that I have over ten hours in my new sandbox park it is crashing again.

The game doesn’t run as smoothly once you start nearing the limits of the console and you can see it when you pan across your park…it becomes choppy…and like I said I have a Series X.

I will provide whatever information you need but this is the ONLY game I have ever bought for a console that cannot be run by the console.

I have opened a ticket for it as well.

Both of my game crashing parks has lagoons.

Both parks had a DLC dinosaur in them. The deleted park had a Scorpio Rex (I think that’s it’s name) and my current one has an Indominus Rex.

Both parks were pretty well established, but I spread everything out mostly.

I have been advised to troubleshoot by removing the quick resume option and turning off the instant on option on my Series X.

I followed instructions I found online to remove the game from quick resume but it appears I can’t because I never get the option to “remove from quick resume” after I quit the game.

I also recorded a 1 minute 9 second video from loading into the game to see how long it takes to crash.

If anyone has an idea or if someone on here has fixed this issue, please let me know.

It is beyond irritating that I can’t play a game “optimized for series x/s” because it crashes.

All the time I spent building the park and I can’t do anything with it.

I have a large hotel seated between two shark feeders so guests can see that big guy (starts with an M) feeding in his own tank.

I have a large hotel built further into my “tyrannosaur paddock” so guests can see them tear up goats or whatever else I wanna feed them…

My hatchery has a huge yard with an Indominus and five Raptors with ample viewing angles…

I started building aviaries because I want to get to five stars but I can’t.

The game crashes back to the Home Screen within two minutes of loading in.

You've probably already tried this, but just in case, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game yet?
