Sadly the Fdev asset boffins have decided that cacti is what the people really need.
I like my potted cactus. I wish we could add string lights, plants and other little knick knacks to the inside of our carriers. I also wish that on victory, drake and fortune class there was a small "roadway or tram" (to either drive your SRV or board a train)from the rear of the carrier to a very small area consisting of "quarters" for you and your team. They could just pull it from a settlement as the assets already exist. On nautilus it would be a much shorter "corridor" to the observation deck in the front that would consist of the same thing. Tbh i wanna drive my SRV the 2 miles ~3Km from my bridge to the front. In an SRV. Maybe once they add NPC SRVs they couod have your crew going in and out of "hangars/quarters" along the length of the carrier to add to the "mobile city" feel, seeing them either boarding the train to various "stations" (4 stations allowing for access to large landing pads and a walkway to same stations from smalls and mediums).
It doesnt have to be super complex but it would really add to the fact that your carrier has between 3,000 and 5,000 crew living and working on board. Passing npc SRVs on your way to the front or your landing pad or stopping at stations to pick up or drop off your crew (could be disabled for a single stop from bridge to front or your station to access your pad if selected destination) all the assets for this could be pulled from existing ones. But as your carrier is your home and has a town's worth of people living on board would be neat to be able to really feel the size and scupe of these space cities image 1: the roadway or train line could go in the grey area between large pads with corridors between pads 2 and and 6 (second from bridge) to access mediums and smalls
