Update 11.1 Patch Notes

Missing faction avatars still missing.... but as thats not in the release notes I assume you are hard at work trying to work out why the disappeared in the first place.

That bar is substantially smaller than any of the ships. Even the sidewinder. I'm not sure how to explain the quantum lock and availability in the SRV though. And if rather not think about it too hard least it disappear like Shrodingers ship locker
Weirdly tho, the bar takes up 150T on the carrier, while a fully A-rated Sidey weighs in at less than a third of that.

(Still maintain the bar should be included in the standard carrier layout and be free from upkeep)

Considering the speed at which they increased the capacity of the bartender's storage I'm guessing it is as easy as just changing the number in the notepad for them and it could've been 10000 and more of they wanted, but frontier don't want "to waste" our time and it is definitely made for longlivity of the game or something
Every game could entirely "skip the grind" and jumpstart you right to the end. But normally people buy video games because they want to, you know, go through the game, as intended by the devs.

figure with the game being british that it would be obvious how the SRV and other lockers work. Does the locker look like a mini port-a-potty/outhouse? See, dozens and dozens of years ago in the 20th century, people used public phones and those phones sometimes existed inside little rooms and this is what tardis' look like forever now. That tech was shrunk down to like, lunchbox size but retained the ability to be significantly larger inside than outside.

And now you know.

You're welcome to come up with an in-universe explanation for how tiny objects in one instance can contain the amount of material ostensibly available in much larger containers elsewhere without conjuring up an object that is able to be larger on the inside than it is on the outside and given the place the game is created, a more appropriate option than the tardis.

Not weird. Just awesome.

I am mildly curious as to what you were trying to do to another player that you found this out.

The only reason I am mildly curious is the launcher is still preparing for update, as it has been for about 10 minutes.
I was literally walking in my carrier and my friend was walking the other way and we literally phasd thru each other like ghosts. Fdev please fix this

Is this the "hotfix" that was spoken of (10-15 mins server downtime early this week)? I didn't know if it was meant to be server-side or client side.

Thank you for the patch.... But when will the crew of my Fleet Carrier formerly recognise me as the commander and owner of their place of work? Every time I approach my carrier and dock I feel like a complete stranger to all my employees. May I ask FDev to please fix this by just adding a few more applicable words and phrases to the NPC scripts of my crew. This would make owning a carrier more realistic and enjoyable.

Well they did address a bug in carriers that has existed for the better part of a year so there is hope, considering this has been a popular user request since carriers were released.

But i wouldn't bank on it happening anytime soon. Besides actual bug fixes it seems like the priority is going to be on narrative developments and that will likely culminate in on foot thargoids in the not too distant future. There likely wont be much time for detail work like that. However trivial we imagine it might be.
