Crashing when encountering thargoid ship at barnacle on foot.

So I was about to have my first on foot thargoid ship encounter on Odyssey, but everytime the game will crash. I usually relog untill the ship visits but it crashes like clockwork everytime the ship starts interacting with the barnacle.

same thing happens to me, can happily watch from my SRV but on foot it crashes, a few seconds after the surge

Got the same problem yesterday when I was gathering meta-alloys in Hyades Sector AQ-Y d81, planet C2.
