Every first jump after leaving the carrier it seems.
First this has happened to me but low jumping fills the charging and then just sits there. Something odd going on. Can't even escape to menu. Keyboard works because I can change panels.
So tempted to post an image...must resist......!
Seems odd that, for me at least, it's every time I take my first ship jump after taking off from the carrier. Must be, as you say, related to the carrier update doodah.
I had to resist the same urge.
It's an incredibly difficult trope to not just go for it, so I think we have both done very well in avoiding this pitfall!!
I've never watched Blackadder.

Friend & I just had this, first jump in a ship after arriving by carrier. Worked normally after logging back in.
I wasn't having this problem until the hotfix. Now it's 100% of the time. Black Adder on high-wake jump after leaving fleet carrier.

Had my first Edmund last night. So first jump from a Carrier after logging on/docking or first jump from a Carrier after the Carrier arrives in system? Mine was the latter.
