As someone who uses a walker I'm always startled how little builders think about accessability in zoos, then call their zoo "realistic". Most of these zoos would lose a lot of money, because not only people with a physically disability wouldn't visit their zoo twice, but also families with strollers and prams. And while I would love some more representation, guests with small children and babys would be cool first. They could complain when they can't reach a foodshop etc, and the guest flow would drop.
I'm not completely against wheelchair users in game, but it's really really tiring and annoying that media reduces people with disabilities aaaaall the time to (paralyzed, sad) people in wheelchairs or people with down syndrome. So sometimes that inclusion can feel way more stigmatizing than leaving people with disabilities out as a whole.
Dear builders and content creators of all kind: If you want to raise awareness and be kind people, build accessible even in game and don't call it "too hard" , "not worth it", or similar things.
