Discovery Scanner [Weekly Update] - 21/03/22

No immediate plans but certainly something we're feeding back to the dev team.
Is there any work or plans to at least get the aliasing sorted out once and for all?

After all these years the jaggies are definitely getting on one's nerves, especially if I compare the rendering with other games (no not That one I don't care about That one).

It would be great to one day load up the game and the horrible aliasing was gone. Tears-of-joy great!
 
@Zac Cocken just some random feedback for the future, but it would be really awesome if at some stage we could get a 'Material Trader' module to allow players to buy and sell ship materials between themselves also ;)

Guardian and Thargoid, data and tech, stand out for me because at the moment they're not tradeable in any way at all.
 
When deploying SRV, the wheels goes into the ground on most of planet landing pads.
When you roll on with SRV wheels on ressources they are destroyed now.

Autodock for the Cutter need to be adressed :

When landing on FC it can takes several minutes, the ship going left and right side of the pad like a drunk ship.
When take off from station the ship often bump the walls up and down the letter box and very few times hitting on the right side.
The ship can be stuck also in the walls and automatic take off is stuck.

Would be great for the game that you stop new content and release an update fixing all the bugs (With a forum post that you can use to identify all bugs)

Text description for all previous pre-engineered modules or a full different color would be nice too.

There is a bug also with system visited and fully FSS scanned with a status not visited in the galax map.

Any chance of some information regarding the hot fix? Such as when it's going to be available and exactly what its fixing?
 
What's coming after Update 11?

When can we order a drink at the bar? How about more customization of the FC interior: such as mini-games and a disco, club.

We're now post-Update 11 and Fleet Carrier interiors are in the game! It's been an absolute joy to watch you all experiencing the jump for the first time, and wandering around the interiors, whether they are yours or someone else's!
Nice that you enjoyed my teams first jump in a fleet carrier, hope you had a comfy jump and the staff was treating you well. Was there any part you liked more than the others? Perhaps, it was our joy of sitting down? Or was it the slight underwhelment of sitting so far from the window during the jump? Hopefully it wasn't the fact that three of us in the team were seated before the jump and after going through the cloud and lightning only two of us arrived? If you could please indicate where I can buy the appropriate scanner to find a co-player lost in the jump cloud, it would be great. If you don't have the time, just tell your colleagues they need to spend more time with QA and bugfixes before releases, not after release. Sorry for the saltiness, but when the experience was hyped for months and the very first and highly anticipated jump was ruined for the team, you can understand the problem.
