I always thought a wetlands pack was very likely, but the animals choices are totally unexpected. I must confess I had to look what a Nile Lechwe is

But there are also people living in Australia potentially playing this game
. So it is not an animal which is not hold in any Zoo of the world.

Still, great to finally see the capybara along with some other fan favorites finally make it in.
Didn't expect this at all. I was hoping for a new Monkey but this is also a nice Pack. Was hoping for a bigger Crocodile though and a Freshwater Turtle for normal Enclosures. But this is still a really nice Selection of Animals. The Platypus will definitely get a Place in my australian Zoo and the Crane (wanted that one so much) and the Capybara will definitely also find a Home in my japanese Zoo when I start to renovate it. The Newt will probably live in my newest german Zoo
Well, it didn't say "only the most requested species". It said "many". Most of these were asked for by many people, the only 2 not really being the newt and caiman
I love all of them, but they totally won me over with the wild Water Buffalo, the Red-Crowned Crane, and the Lechwe!!!!

Nice pack. I always like the mixture of fan favorites and unexpected animals. Platypus, the Otter and especially the cabypara belong surely to the big wishes. Lechwe and cranes are nice surprises. The caiman and the water buffalo are not the choices I would have made but it is okay for me to get them.
I'm personally very grateful for the buffalo. Will also use the caiman, but not sure about the lechwe. It's pretty indeed, but another African antelope.
Highly requested by the community and southern hemisphere players exists. They toom deserve to build their hometown zoos.
I will say I think we needed a dedicated South America/Latin America animal pack. The half-dozen Brazilian spiders aside, you still can't build a beefy South American zoo section the way you can for Africa or Asia twice over. It also kills the odds of a second go at properly representing Oceania.
Wild (as opposed to domestic) water buffalo are apparently also not in any zoos noted on ZTL? Odd choice.
