Yeah, let's be clear about it. I also hate some libraries or quirks of a cloud platform. After an hour of working with them, I sometimes scream "I love this loving thing!" and continue working with it, for the rest of the day.
That's the job.
The same scummy CIG that:
- sells an alpha product as playable now on their website, without labelling it early-access.
- sold land, mere hours after saying they wouldn't sell land.
- said Squadron 42 was coming 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, and yet is MIA.
- said Theaters Of War was easy to make and was coming 2020, and yet is MIA.
- said "no pay2win" yet sells pay2win products while gaslighting "what is winning anyway?".
- said Alpha 4.0 with multiple star systems was coming 2017, but is MIA.
- said Pyro was coming 2020, and yet is MIA.
- said Salvage was coming in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and is only now bringing a Hull-Stripping beam.
- said VR was a priority in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, yet VR support is MIA.
- said servers supporting 100s and 1000s of players coming 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and yet is MIA.
I think it's meant to be cathartic. Watching Bognogus Mercer suffer the agonies of the Star Citizen bugs, we are meant to empathise with him and feel his pain
You forgot about: Claimed 100% of pledges would be applied to development of the game(s), and would thus be 5X as effective as traditional publishing, but diverts at least 10% funding straight into the coffers of the Roberts Clan (and Calders)… if the whole of CIG reflects the activities of the UK shell company.
It's quite relaxing to listen to him talking about all those things that never happened.
Poor guy. Forced to stream ED to earn money and switch to SC to make more money...

To be fair I find it quite meh that in order to argument Star Citizen "quality" supporters are forced to use personal or anecdotal accounts, be it from streamers or otherwise it does not really matter, instead of using less anecdotal elements such as actual player concurrency figures or the usual numerous game reviews / scores you find for actual games etc. The fact CIG avoids to be subjected to those like the plague after 10+ years already sends a clear message CIG knows they are probably quite far from decent.

Like many SC streamers, CIG give Bognogus $100+ ships for giveaways, thereby attracting more viewers, subscribers and donations.
SaltEMike streams SC for the same reason, although it's less required for him as he has an IRL career which he loves anyway.
Other previous SC career streamers were BadNewsBaron, and WTFOSaurus.
Morphologis, a career architect and SC's biggest youtuber (aka side revenue), gave up streaming SC two months ago and switched to games he enjoys more.
