All naturally to be expressed by:
  • The 'Virtual AIs' that reify quanta agents (even becoming living, breathing persistent characters, in the style of the 'Nemesis System')
  • 'Dynamic Events' bubbling up from cumulations of factors. (IE, varied emergent events, not injected and managed by hand by the devs, as with the repeated XenoThreat currently)
  • The general 'Subsumption' AIs, with battered warriors filling medbays when near a warzone, if the commuter rush allows them ingress that is...

Then Star Citizen is a finished game ;)

But I think we can all agree that what they really are is: Just Tier 0 :)

So, quanta is Dwarf Fortress?

It's just you keep spouting irrelevant stuff from 5 years ago nobody actually cares about anymore, like, come on, give me some new stuff.
The fact that it is from 5 years ago is the point. All these promises from 5, 6, 7... even 10 years ago. Said to be going live in a couple of years, next year, weeks not months. Yet here we are 5 to 10 years later and still no sign.

It illustrates that when CIG show beautiful clouds, sand worms, squadron 42 playthroughs etc that get posted on here and shown as definite progress we just have to look to the past to see how likely any of it is to end up in game and working.

Not very likely at all :(

Beautiful clouds and the like are a bit like card magic tricks, cute puppies or juggling. Easy ways to divert the attention of the easily preyed upon, unawares or those trying to cope. And that allows those who havent released a single product in 10+ years but taken 500 millions for it to dodge their accountability and take the next taxi to Heathrow.

This playthrough bears no relation to how this game is portrayed by the SC fanatics in this thread. I am not surprised.
The guy runs it on a machine that isn't optmized for single threaded performance at all, I get better FPS on a 1050ti lmao. Yamiks gameplay of SC always ends in disaster.
