If you're still in your ship, the contacts panel will be empty. That doesn't stop the collector limpets.
drive quite close to them in your srv
Ohhhhh dear. Thanks. I had no idea the collector limpets could grab stuff that wasn't visible as a contactIf you're still in your ship, the contacts panel will be empty. That doesn't stop the collector limpets.
I was inspired by this post - how on earth did you find the relics to scoop them if they don't show up until you land? They are efficient but boring! I believe I have secured the decal quite comfortably using just my Viper. I'm in the top 25% right now.
Lag to server is normaly a cause for that...were you in solo, Lag on Keyboard can do that, what region do you live in... Asia,, AU, NZ and west pacific regions dont have a Regional serverI am seeking a position where limpets will work well.
By the way, my limpets only eject once a second, what should I do to make them as hardworking as yours?
I would appreciate it if you could share your technique with me.
Especially with regard to CG, your comments at this forum has always helped me. Thank you.
Requires more than upside down... Correct site type (beta) and correct position in site and rotation of ship and correct number of limpet controllers...Man, I'm not doing too well. Every 10 limpets I send out only 2 return. (yes, my ship is upside down)
I'm at Synuefe XR-H d11-102. Can launch 13 limpets.Requires more than upside down... Correct site type (beta) and correct position in site and rotation of ship and correct number of limpet controllers...
Doing only one is not enough...
Cargo hatch has two modes, open - for scoping and receiving limpets, and 'split' for deploying limpets. To deploy a limpet when the hatch is open it has to go through the close and then split animations (even if you can't see it from your seat) and that takes a second or two. After the limpet is launched it does the reverse animations, you have to go through that every time you deploy a limpet. If you hold down the trigger it will stay in the split mode and launch them as your video shows, if however you spam the trigger while it's in the 'split' position (as soon as the first limpet appears on the scanner) it will launch as many more as your controllers allow in very quick succession.I am seeking a position where limpets will work well.

I set all limpets controllers to a single digital button on my hotas and they have allways launched that quick...
I don't know if it is possible for me, but I will give it a try right away.Cargo hatch has two modes, open - for scoping and receiving limpets, and 'split' for deploying limpets. Never ever had to do any of that crap..Single trigger button hold on hotas.. deploys them all over time... and his hatch is open...Cargo hatch has two modes, open - for scoping and receiving limpets, and 'split' for deploying limpets. Sure, like I said, holding it down does deploy them over time. That's what I saw in his video and is what I expect when I'm mining and just deploying while firing the lasers.Never ever had to do any of that crap..Single trigger button hold on hotas.. deploys them all over time... and his hatch is open...
this is good to know...... so does anyone know if you can do it in a T10 Defender? that is what i have mining right now for the other CG?Requires more than upside down... Correct site type (beta) and correct position in site and rotation of ship and correct number of limpet controllers...

I have a T10 but its slower at every thing and lower cargo rack...this is good to know...... so does anyone know if you can do it in a T10 Defender? that is what i have mining right now for the other CG?
iirc it has 8 limpets.
thanks, out of curiosity why 12 collectors? not doubting you at all am just curious if there is a mechanical reason why it makes a difference or if it is just some weird glitch in the code that the more prospectors you deploy the ai of them changes or something? (a bit like accelerated time used to change how ships acted in the earlier games)I have a T10 but its slower at every thing and lower cargo rack...
Youll likely need to refit it to get 12 collectors by changing out the Prospectors and refinery of the mining build...
The more collectors you have the more items are selected at first launch and the more times you skip over the items that will kill a limpet 100%...thanks, out of curiosity why 12 collectors? not doubting you at all am just curious if there is a mechanical reason why it makes a difference or if it is just some weird glitch in the code that the more prospectors you deploy the ai of them changes or something? What a pain... I just went and explored a few of the sites and SRV'd them up. Wasn't that bad really. The limpet thing was more tedious to me.Requires more than upside down... Correct site type (beta) and correct position in site and rotation of ship and correct number of limpet controllers...

Its a CG that could have Real in game side effects. So the more players that skip what is slow for them then the better off the CG is in result...What a pain... I just went and explored a few of the sites and SRV'd them up. Wasn't that bad really. The limpet thing was more tedious to me.
ETA: Not a criticism. I just kinda enjoyed poking around the sites again and walking around, shooting sentinels with my plasma rifle and stuff.
Loading a FC called Musashi with guardian artifact is tempting fate as much as sailing the cruise ship Titanic in an ice belt.
For those who don't know, her WWII namesake, the Yamato sistership and flagship of the Imperial Japanese Navy was sunk by a large plane attack. She was hit by an astonishing 19topedoes and 17bombs before being underwater.

They totally need to have Thargoids interceptor bomb her to death, that's the only way it can end now.

we have No spoilers or spoiler full road map, So if people can skip the learning the faster the CG goes up...
Its just a shame that tier 4 is so high... Tier 5 could be a last it all week tier value which we were never ever meant to get anyway...
Its good that they hide rewards if there are any. It would be depressing to see salvation augmented guardian class 3 gauss cannon not unlock for not reaching tier 4...
Eyeball mk1 combined with memory mk1. They always spawn in a pile of breakable rocks and the spawn positions are fixed for each site.Ohhhhh dear. Thanks. I had no idea the collector limpets could grab stuff that wasn't visible as a contact

[Edit: just to be clear, I was going to attempt to grab 'em with my DBX's cargo scoop]
