What, really? Do we need to support Salvation unconditionally now, because he is the only one to accomplish anything and in time? I have strong reservations about it.
You don't need to, no. Plenty of other people have doubts about Salvation.

Of course, there's no-one else to support right now on the anti-Thargoid front. Unless Azimuth comes out of hiding, and they're not exactly squeaky clean either.

I secured an overnight berth on the Musashi just in case anything interesting happened. It didn't. All is quiet in T Tauri this morning but I did receive a thank you note with my new decal.

Sure, like I said, holding it down does deploy them over time. That's what I saw in his video and is what I expect when I'm mining and just deploying while firing the lasers.
What I'm saying is, after the initial delay on the first one, you can deploy them faster than that with rapid trigger pulls. It's something I came across this week while ruin bombing. I'm not using the lasers so I'd just quickly fire off a load and wondered why there seemed to be a delay then a load at once so I swung the external camera round to see what it was doing.

If your saying the deployment speed in your video is from a single long pull, then that's me puzzled as well. I'll have to do a bit more of a controlled test in case I just have a faulty memory.
Just to follow up on this, I had another look and, spamming the trigger - while it can be satisfying - is completely unnecessary, and just holding the trigger does indeed launch a full complement of limpets in quick succession, I was wrong. (which seems to be happening a lot lately, I think I need more sleep - no CG this week please)

So I've no idea why @shylph was getting such a lazy deployment with theirs.

Never quite figured out the logic on limpet deployment. I have two collector controllers on my Anaconda; it'll deploy the first limpet from one, won't deploy another one for a couple of seconds, will deploy the second and third (1st from controller 2, 2nd from controllerone), wait another second and then deploy last one (2nd from controller 2). Bizarre.

Also, have the servers just gone for a Burton?

Yep I stayed on the Musashi and when the servers came back up after 40 mins at 08:40 BST, we were safely in T Tauri.
I was hoping for some shenanigans but guess that will be in this weeks CG (or a future storyline) later.

I have called my FC to me a few systems away and now mapping ELW and WW and trying to find Plat HS for mining.

That's like 1K light years away, right?
Yep LOL! Remotely setting a route from the CG area was 'fun' with me going slightly off to one side for the first jump. :)

I had 2 commanders in the area, my main Flossy, and one of my alts, P0PPY. Before logging out last night I made sure P0PPY was safely on Flossy's carrier, but forgot to check Flossy's location! Thank goodness for remote jumping. :)

If I had known you were there too we could have had brunch. By the way, I left my mining ship on your carrier. Where is it headed to?
Ah yes, I noticed on Inara that you were a passenger. My carrier is now back in LDS 413. Hope you enjoyed the trip. :)
