Only mildly concerning that they're apparently not allowed to tell that they're doing development. Mildly.
Well at the horrifying and obvious inevitability that I get called a "white knight" for stating an unpopular opinion, it would just be a case of having to "green light" what they can commit to. If its anything like where I work everyone is going on holiday around Easter and our team velocity becomes harder to plan.

I am sure many an example will be given of developers whose community managers run to brief the public the very second they get whiff of what devs are working on without consultation and how their players are all completely unquestionably understanding when those commitments cant be met.
It will probably be disappointing
