@darthquell do you think exhibits should also be on this, as the exhibit animal list OP?
Hmm. Sure. Would be nice to know what families are more popular to the community. Maybe the CMs can cross reference this list with the habitat/exhibit meta-wishlists.

Go ahead. I need to update it soon, though (my list). Imma do that tomorrow and then try to publish it by Monday

Can’t believe I missed this in the past, this is a great list! Really highlights how much gas this game still has in its tank compared to what we’ve already gotten, should Frontier opt to keep going.

A couple of minor nitpicks I noticed: you forgot the black & white ruffed lemur, you have a gibbon under old world monkeys instead of apes, and you’ve got coatis under mustelids instead of procyonids.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe skunks are mustelids, as well (which I'd love to have. Skunks are beautiful animals, and don't start saying "Oh they smell"; skunks don't smell, it's the musk, and actually it's not that bad. Believe me, I've passed enough skunks and got sprayed once when I was 8)

Nope, skunks are their own thing, mephitids. That’s not a name you see too often since it’s just skunks, and the much more obscure stink badgers. But yeah, I’d love to get a striped skunk too, they’re adorable.
My animal encyclopedias are very outdated then, as they're still classed as mustelids

If I’m reading this right, it looks like they were reclassified in 1997, I guess? Taxonomy its ever-changing nature is so fascinating. I wonder if there’ll ever be some point in the future where we’ve finally nailed it all down beyond a shadow of a doubt.
