The remaining question to be answered is: was this tale of irradiated ores genuine, which might lead to some technological breakthrough, or was the whole story only made up by Salvation to distract from the other CG, with no truth behind it at all?

The initial message from Morag Halloran pretty much confirmed it to be fake:

Taurus Mining Ventures is currently running a much-publicised mining initiative in the Synuefe CE-R c21-6 system. In truth, we require you to transport as many Guardian relics as possible to the Musashi megaship in the HIP 39768 system.

I'm sure people will nitpick and say it doesn't outright say the mining CG was fake, but come on; the Galnet articles made a point to say the presence of radiation could not be confirmed by third parties and the use of "In truth" implies that the preceding statement is false/deceitful. The most obvious explanation is usually the answer.

That's probably okay. Given the existence of carriers and REZ/mapped mining, in truth the vast majority of the minerals they got were likely ordinary ore from the bubble anyway.

I don't hate the paintjobs, although I'll admit it's a bit annoying that so many of the recent ones - from CG or Twitch drop - are for ships I don't fly. Luck of the draw, I guess. Bring on the Krait II, Cutter and Courier paintjobs!

Fair enough. And I 100% can get behind some Krait Mk2 paintjobs!

Also, am I missing out on free paintjobs or something?! I don't bother with social media when it comes to games and game developers. The only videos I occasionally watch are Coffee Stain Studios when Jace and Snutt put out stuff for Satisfactory.

Spring paintjobs for Krait MKII & Anaconda were leaked.

Krait was leaked when Twitch accidentally displayed that instead the T9 paintjob last month.

Anaconda was leaked (also by accident) during the last stream (don't remember by Arf or Bruce).
