Cargo Storage for Squadron Members

Not all CMDRs want or currently have the means to purchase a fleet carrier, but it could be a great asset for a player group. Right now, depending on who's allowed to dock, ships and modules can be stored on someones carrier. As a FC owner, I'd love to be able to allocate space for my Squadron at least.
Adjustable of course. Up to 1000T per CMDR.
*The ability to no-fee transfer cargo between CMDRs would also be great.
Would be better than jettisoning and limpet transfers.
*Also a setting for who has access.
Either Allowed CMDRs have access to only their cargo, or the whole squadron making one mass pool.
Could be setup like a free market for those who are allowed.

Why does this idea have to be squadron related? Why can't an FC owner just designate a shareable space if that's the idea? If you want it to be squad specific you then limit your access to squad members.

It's a nice idea but my first question would have to be what happens to the stored cargo if the (non-carrier owning) Cmdr leaves the squadron (or is booted out)? Using the friend list has the same issue of course.

I guess it could work with some sort of cool down time but I think it would be complex to cater for all eventualities.

Nice idea, but not practical to implement imo, in general I'm in favour of allowing more aspects of Carrier control & management to be shared among wing/friend/squad members though.

Perhaps a auto relocation of assets? That happens if a carrier is decommissioned. Or a station is on fire etc. I'm sure some algorithm can be used.

That's a great idea! Would have to be considered for any exploit opportunities to prevent them, but I like it!
