ARX income up or down?

(Roots themselves said they were being a little sarcastic, the sarcasm was why I made my remark)
The effect on arx income. I would have spent another £50 by now, but I haven’t. I was aiming to join Odessey but cant through Xbox. Yes the game is still running on Xbox but the Elite community is now split in a way it wasn’t before. Again, referencing the recent livestream, why as a console player would I tune in if the gameplay and development news is about Odyssey? The Twitch drops and paint jobs?
People have made the point that some players have multiple accounts, PC and console, and have purchased arx in both, no bother, no regrets. Well that’s fine but it strikes me that that’s by choice. Me, I was a one platform CMDR. If I want to continue with the game development then I am being forced to jump platform, leave behind what I have paid for and earned, and purchase the game again. I haven’t got money to burn and I do begrudge standing at the door of a nightclub being told “you cant wear those trainers in here mate,” “you’ve got to buy these and we’ll let you in…” and being presented with the exact same pair of trainers.
But it's not the same trainers (to carry on the analogy). They look the same and fit the same but they're made by a different company.

Frankly, I don't understand what having an answer to that question gives anyone, apart from looking into some else's wallet.

Let's say the answer is "arx sale gone down". What does the change for anyone that wants to know it?

And now let's say the answer is "it gone up". What's different to you personally?

It's a genuine question. Does that affect a decision of yours? I don't get it.

Asking a question like that (with an obvious answer - nobody knows apart from fdev) without any context just makes it look dumb imo...

Sure, but I’m not sure what the point is really.

Ultimately, the news will have obviously reduced Arx purchases from console cmdrs. I’m sure the lack of news about what’s coming will also have reduced Arx purchases from some PC commanders.

The real question is to what extent that varies from what FD forecast. And that is something we as players are never going to know.

It lets them pat themselves on the back and say to themselves 'Hah! See!!!' because this is how they gain a sense of validation in their otherwise empty lives. At a guess.
Yep. Plus there’s probably a bit of an attempt to set up a false problem in order to posit account transfers or Odyssey for consoles as the solution to FD. (Which is understandable but ultimately a bit daft.)

I think its more about recognising that money talks and wanting to have a voice and be heard. Expressing protest. I tell you what though, it’s very easy to see how these companies can make the kind of profits they can; Most people really don’t give a

Does money talk? Doesn't it seem odd to you that Frontier were unwilling to take console money for their expansion, if money talks?

Perhaps you could crowd-fund a handful of £millions and donate it for console development of EDO?

They would have loved your money... It just doesn't seem to be happening. Perhaps the projected income from sales was noticably less than the cost of development?
