Time for a class action lawsuit.

Odyssey is and was a mess, but it has gotten a lot better since launch. Is this an excuse? No. Fdev seems to be still not done ironing out the bugs and issues and that is reason enough for me to stick around and see the end of it.

For me ED:O is a game and not some wicked social injustice that has to be purged from the lands... I couldn't care less about my 35€ I spend one year ago and if it has been worth it. Others might feel differently about that topic, but a class action lawsuit just isn't the way to go in this case. And well yeah, theres still this thing called EULA.

Thinking about it, the OP's name is incredibly ironic here. Is he hoping to get some funding for his lawyers, by yelling and such?
Actually lawyers work on a percentage of the total gained by all plaintiffs in a class action. So no money is needed, only your signature with the attorney.

Class Action Law Suit?

That's only in the American legal system, isn't it?

Have to file it under British Law, and in GB and hire a Barrister.

Good luck with that.

The Official Church of Brebus would like to make this announcement :

You are all Heretics and you will burn for your sins. REPENT NOW !

That is all.

They got you to buy Odyssey on pre-order then released a less than workable product, several patches later the product is still sub-par. Now the creators refuse to fix issues because "it's hard" well I want my money back and I can think of several 1000 other players whom have bought, paid for and then be let down by this product. they may not listen to a bunch of whine on the forums but I bet they will listen to an attorney. only need 100 people to start a class action.
Current running total is one then? Keep me appraised please so I can laugh some more.

Would a lawyer with zero interest in Elite: Dangerous and a specialty in class-action law have long since taken an interest in this by now and by this point started up class-action proceedings purely for the potential of profiting from them?

Nah! This! This right here is the iron! Watch the sparks fly.

a lawyer has to have someone that has been affected by loss.. they don't just pop on the scene and say "Hey your sued let me find some people that are upset". so please don't confuse your mothers pharmaceutical band wagon class action. with one that has not began yet.

How do you know what lawyers do or don't do? I heard that lawyers only have lawyer friends so if you're a lawyer why aren't you starting the class-action? If you aren't, how do you know what lawyers think?

Have you never seen the advertizments for surveys and questionnaires that law firms put out for people who have been affected by some arbitrary thing that said people may not even know or care about but that presents an opportunity to mount a successful class-action proceeding and resultant settlement? Unless you've actually come here by way of a lawyer or legal student. In that case best of luck maybe.

You are confusing lawyers with ambulance chasers.
Actually this would not be the first time I was part of a class action. So I am familiar with how they work. That will be enough from "the peanut gallery of trying to be important" in this convo since you obviously have NO idea.

No such thing as a class-action lawsuit in the UK, which is where you would have to file your lawsuit because FDev is a British company based in England in a place called Britain which is in the UK on the other side of the pond known as the Atlantic. It's quite near Europe actually but no longer part of Europe, apparently. I used to live there, but they kicked me out for having a funny northern accent, ya nah.

I won't have to keep you informed .. Just ask Bruce if he takes it serious :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
Garrido? I thought he was a community manager, not on the legal team. Not sure how he'd be bothered other than deferring you to the legal team, as seems to be the protocol every other time someone's threatened legal action.
