Try that in VR on a modern HMD and let us know how it goes. Yeah my 3080 can run 120fps at Sir Isaac Newton resolution optics but who wants to play at that120 fps capped on a 3080, this is in the concourse and on Planets. 100 FPS in combat. Hardly running like a busted bottom as you say.

Yea, trust me when I say they're not releasing broken games because of a few thousand whining superfans. They're releasing it because their money men told them to. I guess you could blame consumers for accepting the same broken crap release after release and still giving them money.Saying that... we are all tired of games coming out broken. We are all tired of promises that never reach full potential. And honestly, I think we - the consumers - have the lion's share of the blame.
Following the success of Fallout 4, Bethesda says it will continue to try and keep big game marketing campaigns short, in part because they distract devs from the business of actually making the game.
Bugthesda game are still hyped AF and buggy when they come. And stay buggy forever with the modding community doing the major fixes.Yea, trust me when I say they're not releasing broken games because of a few thousand whining superfans. Also, Cyberpunk 2077 was announced in May 2012 and released in December 2020 whereas Bethseda advertised Skyrim in 2020 and released it a year later...

Bethesda: Long marketing campaigns are a distraction from game dev

Yea, I did edit my post a bit to reflect that but the saving grace there is that modders can not only fix the game they can expand it and make it better that the original. Could you imagine a modded ED ? new planet types, new ships, landable comets, more stuff to discover out in the black, EVA and different coloured UI (I know we already have that last one). It would be a completely different game today...Bugthesda game are still hyped AF and buggy when they come. And stay buggy forever with the modding community doing the major fixes.
That's not extraordinary. I get 100 FPS on my RTX 3070 at 1440p / Ultra.Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof.
I'm running @3440x1440/ultra and everything turned up/on and STILL get the FPS I state. I have zero reason to lie. Elite does have its negatives I do agree and will be the first to admit it. When Odyssey was released the performance was pitiful (I was then running an z170 ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7 6700@4.4, 16gb Corsair Vengeance 3200 and GTX 1080). After the patches I ended up running nigh on 70 FPS. Ground combat was meh to say the least, I for one refuse wholeheartedly to turn down details in a game so I ended up not playing it, I didn't do much 'ground work' either. That's not extraordinary. I get 100 FPS on my RTX 3070 at 1440p / Ultra.
By the way, I just played Hellblade which runs on UE4 AFAIK and the performance was horrible compared to Odyssey.
hellblade... the 1st game? that runs maxed out on my rig. That's not extraordinary. I get 100 FPS on my RTX 3070 at 1440p / Ultra.

I never once had any problems whatsoever with Vista. Not a one. Well I say not a one, the only bug I had was with CoD2 and all that needed was if I remember correctly, a sound file either renaming or deleting. But most of the problems people had were with software that was incompatible and as I never used them I never had the troubles others had.Let me introduce you to two little known products, called Windows Vista and NMS.
No driver issue, I configured, installed and repaired a few thousand PCs in my life. Everything is up to date, from firmware to drivers. Hardware is probably the best you can get (ASUS, bequiet). Without OC 3DMark score is above average for my configuration.hellblade... the 1st game? that runs maxed out on my rig.
I play both in VR and whilst both are fully playable on my G2, ED I can't run full bubble. I wonder if you have a driver issue or summat?
Nope, rtx 3070 1080p ultra here, and i keep having fps in the 40´s - 50´s in populated settlements and 90 in abandoned many many times. In station keep dipping to 60-70 from 90 next to the bar and shipyard. 120-80 in fleetcarriers etc etcThat's not extraordinary. I get 100 FPS on my RTX 3070 at 1440p / Ultra.

There truth of it is, fleet carrier interiors arent that exciting. Sure, cool for the first few times, but ultimately, its basically just a time consuming way to get to the exact same menus. A least there is only one fleet carrier interior, and it’s plenty big enough to reuse a lot of the station interior assets. The work needed to bring that to all ship interiors would be huge, and for what?@Arthur Tolmie why is walking around 'inside' your own ship boring but walking around inside your fleet carrier not boring?
Another one that calls people a liar because they either have poorly optimised systems or lower end gear.Nope, rtx 3070 1080p ultra here, and i keep having fps in the 40´s - 50´s in populated settlements and 90 in abandoned many many times. The same GPU, ryzen 3700x and 32 GB of RAM, capable of 80 FPS in total war Warhammer 3, a more demanding game than elite. The 100 FPS everywhere with a 3070? Nota everywhere, if you stay away feom on foot activities of course, I have 120 in planets but on foot CZ??? 45-60 FPS, in a big abandoned settlement with scavengers is the same 45-60 fps, the AI of the npc use all the CPU.Another one that calls people a liar because they either have poorly optimised systems or lower end gear.
It's quite normal that you don't get the same performance in every situation. The 100 FPS everywhere with a 3070?
