Longtime Cmr looking for squadron

Hello everyone, I'm a longtime player looking for a PVE-oriented squadron, that use discord, are on the EU timezone and is comprised of mature players that take things easier. I can play rather regularly (a few times a week) and I can commit to specific squadron activities if previously scheduled. Due to my life circumstances at the moment (parenthood), I would say that I'm more of a casual/chill player than hardcore.

So far I've played Solo or Private session with friends and I have no experience with PVP (although I'd like to change that sometime in the future). I'm also useless when it comes to lore.

I'm fine with playing either Odyssey or Horizons, I own a decent stable of ships (currently grinding that Cutter), I've set myself up with a nice bank, I'm familiar with some tools (Inara, EDDB, EDSM) and I've unlocked some engineers. However I'm hoping to learn new tricks, techniques or methods to be better at the game. Also open to group play and chill doing stuff in space. Eventually would like to try my hand at end-of-game activities and other stuff. As for gear, I play with a Warthog Hotas and VR for a few years now.

Any questions or comments, do fire away :)

Hi there Commander Dascagonen
I'd like to introduce you to the Alliance Rapid-Reaction Corps. (ARRC for short)

Our group is fairly active both in Horizons and Odyssey and has Commanders from all over Europe and the USA.
We have been a lively Player Minor Faction since the KickStarter days so you have no fears regarding us dying out any time soon
We also have a well established group of PS4 players and a few on XBox too.
We have many player from way back as far as '84 but all ages are represented in our ranks.
We like to think that we are newbie friendly but in reality your experience will be dictated by the way you interact with us.
If you ask questions, and listen to advice you will find us full of friendly and sage advice.
If you ask for wing help you will get it.
If you need to be transported to places near and far you will get carrier support. Often one on one.
If on the other hand you sit in channel expecting us to take you by the hand and lead you along day by day then you will be disappointed.

So, if you want to get help , advice and company you could do worse than pop into our Discord channel and take a look around,
If nothing else we can steer you with good advice on exploration builds etc, and give you a place to chat with other commanders when you feel the need for a bit of company.

We currently have more than 14 carriers for various purposes including collecting new players from the starter systems.

You are not required to join our player faction
However, if you do then you should know, that we don't have a lot of rules, and what we have you can read and understand in a few minutes.
Reading and agreeing to them is our only entry requirement. We also insist you take a little time to get to know us before joining.

We are a possibly one of the friendliest, medium sized Player Minor Factions. We are a well established group of about 60-100 players with a presence in over 30 of the "Old Worlds"
Our base of operations is in our home system of Zaonce, Ridley Scott station.
The home of the Zaonce Fleet and the Bank of Zaonce.
Our systems include Arque, the home of Professor Palin and Tionisla, where the famous Ships Graveyard is reputed to bear permanent monument to many a brave pilot.
We have also been given stewardship of the Alliance Lore system of Leesti along with its attendant engineer Didi Vatermann.

Time zone is GMT UK but we have a few American players and are to be found online pretty much any time.
We are actively seeking Console players to boost our PS4 and Xbox divisions.

Most of all we know a lot about the game and the best ways to quickly attain your goals.

We really don't mind who you are or where you come from. If you want to be our friends and allies then you will be.
Better still. Why not join us?

A lot of us were here in '84 and as far as game play goes we moslty bimble about engaging in pretty much whatever comes to mind.

Our activities include PVE exploration
PvP in Arque & Leesti protecting commanders, looking for engineers, against gank squads.
PvP in a training group called "Fighter Club" (See my signature. No membership required)
Thargoid hunting in the Pleiades
Racing SLFs, SRVs and other vehicles in odd and remote locations
Driving SRVs into space stations...

Well you get the idea. Pretty much anything that's fun.
Join our forum thread and lend us your ideas.

Background Simulation or Powerplay?
Yes we also involve ourselves in the Background Simulation and Powerplay aspects of the game. Flipping systems for the Alliance, fighting to keep or control systems etc.

You pretty much couldn't find a more friendly bunch of commanders with an eye for fun and a taste for adventure always on the lookout for new and exciting things to try.

Come along and give us a go. Join our Discord channel or the Fighter Club thread, or you could apply on INARA where you will find our Faction page.

Hello Commander, feel free to check out The Yomar Consortium, and see if it suits you!

Hello Dascagonen,

I am the leader of the Dark Wolf Marlinists squadron. We support and defend the Marlinist Colonies and their factions. We have found that it provides a great sense of purpose that can really keep the game interesting once you have played for a long time.

Not only is there the interesting BGS faction supporting you can get in any other group, but the Marlinists are a regular part of Galnet storylines so the things we do have an impact on that. For example, the current CG was brought about due to our work. So now we get to be heavily involved in the Community Goal.

How many players can say they are grinding to build their own new stations?

We have a mix of time zones but have several EU players. It is a pretty mature bunch. We are dedicated players to our group and game but there isn't pressure.

I am a parent myself so I definitely understand.

Check us out on Inara to learn more: https://inara.cz/squadron/10826/

The Discord link is there too.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Greetings CMDR Dascagonen,

Consider checking out Benevolence [BNVC] (PC), we're pretty chill, we could use some longtime CMDRs right now as we're mostly made of beginners, so your expertise would be valued greatly here. Also, at least one of our members is a parent as well so that might a fun chat you can have, haha. We're also growing decently steady and should also be getting a Player Faction soon once our application is approved, so it's a great time to join. :>

Here's our Discord if you wanna chat a little before making up your mind.

No matter what you settle on, hope you find somewhere you feel at home.

Until then, Fly Benevolently, CMDR. o7

o7 CMDR. I am the leader of The Black Cat Syndicate. we are an old group originating from about 20 years of gaming, and some pretty historic action within eve online. we came here about 2 years ago with the same ideology that has always lead us to some amazing stories.
We enjoy gathering new players with an ambition for the stars, and supporting the growth and pursuit of their goals until their dreams are made true.

This is what we do, we are legend makers, and a defender of freedom and ambition. We act as a liberation front to combat oppressive powers that would hold down the ambitions of this world's pilots through unjust means.

All of this said, we are also a very laid back and fun squadron, that enforces no personal rules or obligations. it is our core fundamental that all are free to do whatever they want, and our purpose as family is to simply support our members in their pursuits, whatever they may be.

We also own the minor faction Raven's Scouts, operating and controlling a decent settlement of systems located around and near our home system of Cai and deploying from our headquarters located in our home station Raven's Landing.

We accept all applying members, and offer any stray an opportunity to become a part of our family and pursue their dreams and ambitions to the fullest of their desire.
Feel free to stop by our Inara page: The Black Cat Syndicate
Our discord: Discord
and of course in game, by the same name.
We hope to meet you or anyone else that may find interest in our group here in the very near future :)
