I made a couple of Unlimited runs and submitted one... decent for a crappy and rusty pilot
In my first botched run I was doing a magnificent start in Dublin and crashed with an incoming NPC AspExp @>750m/s whilenarrowly evading giving ample space to Cmdr Enchilada Sors's Cobra in the toastrack.

Absolutely, that's kinda the point of our races - go as many times as you like, constantly trying to improve on your own time and/or beat those of your nearest rivals (all in a spirit of fun of course).
Love it! (and you're really going to enjoy the final race of the championship!)
It must be just me but I'm really struggling with this one... only two successful runs, both over 30 minutes!

Keep at it and it will suddenly all make sense. It is the way of Buckyball. Happened to me many times.

Meanwhile I may have hit my performance ceiling. Four regulation runs this morning, all to my mind more or less perfect, all within 10 seconds of each other, one of them just a second faster than my pb (I won't bother submitting it for now but I'll hang on to it just in case). Not quite sure how to go any faster. Rather than trying to perfect my current supercruise technique I may need to try a radically diferent approach. Or maybe I'll take a day off tomorrow and do a fun run in a different ship.

The race officials are looking into this and are in the process of knobbling your scoop permanently.
