Please Help, Orangutans Can't Climb Down!

I have two orangutan habitats connected by an O-Line. But, while they can each ascend onto the towers without issue, orangutans can't seem to get off of the towers, even when getting off of obviously climbable structures like these. Any advice? @Leaf Productions hate to ping you but I know you just worked on a similar project.

I've tried a variety of different options. Nothing. These @^(#&#%(& orangutans can't climb down off of the climbing structure, even when it's just a matter of walking onto the ground, as in the picture.

Try removing the pillars/putting in a wider ramp. I suspect the width of the ramp is too narrow for them (their hitboxes, actually).

I'll try that. It happens no matter what the climbing structure is, though-- even a straight rope to the ground will show as climbable except the last inch or so.

Tried it, it did nothing. The thing is, they can clearly walk on it when ascending the rope, just not when descending it.

It's also not an orangutan-exclusive issue. The binturong also can't descend the large structure, and I have no idea why. God, I'm so angry at this game right now, and I know it's trivial but it's still annoying.

Final raging update before I go to bed: seems like the issue is that, for whatever reason, the orangutan won’t shift from climbing to walking at all. It’s trapped in a climbing space and refuses to descend, even if doing so means only walking.

Unless they've finally fixed it, this is a relatively old Bug. Orangutans and Gorillas can't use Ropes anymore (I think since the Australia Pack) even though they show up as traversable in the Heatmap.
Regarding the Binturong, it's maybe the same Problem. If not you'll sadly just need to experiment. Sometimes this Climbing Stuff is just weird. Also had Structures that couldn't be climbed even though they obviously should be reachable. Don't know if Binturongs can use Ropes. Never kept them before.
I hope you'll be able to figure it out soon

Ah. I’ll keep that in mind. Will replace the ropes soonish.

Really a Shame that they didn't fix it yet. I think I've already made 2 Issue Tracker Reports but there aren't enough People contributing anymore, so it was never confirmed.
I do have a Enclosure myself that isn't big enough just because of this Problem. The Orangutans in my australian Zoo have Platforms above the Ocean and a elevated Shelter which should both be reachable through Ropes that are high above the Paths.
Not completely sure but I think the Orangutans in my Breeding Center are able to use Liana Vines though. But it's been a While since I've played, so I might be wrong about it

Logs helped somewhat (they can now climb if placed on one of the platforms) but not much. For whatever reason, the climbing registers differently based on what spot they start in. Gonna try out a new climbing structure (saving the original) to see if it's a species issue or if the towers just don't work for some reason.
