New Vintage gear...basic errors right out of the box. Tell us how much you care, FDev.

Got a wireframe paint to go with that?
No?
Pfff...

This is all very much intentional and there have been no errors in testing. The undersuit (and all parts) get their name from the entire pack they belong to, as is convention. I understand on this occasion they are harder to distinguish in the chest pieces but the suits are all correct.
Hey Zac, I am glad you remembered your password. ;)

No, you're wrong, the suits are all the same colour for every set, they're meant to be that way, and no it's not obviously or even close to yellow, maybe you need to put big circles around those yellow so I can see what you think are yellow!
I mean, we even got confirmation from Zac by now, the suits are NOT all the same color and they are intentionally not the same color as the pack's overall main color. But your wish is my command.

People complain about that?

Oh my...

Rave from the grave...

My post regarding thy python wireframe (that started all this madness :) ) was to point out that i like it a lot even if it's not identical to the '84 wireframe ship
The paint job looks really well on the python.

The promo shot for all 3 vintage suits side by side. None of the accents are consistent across any of the suits... while confusing I guess that's what was actually being sold.

But really CMDRs, they are VINTAGE suits after all. Do you think it is easy to get replacement parts in the original manufacturer colours? Just be happy if the thing can stay pressurized.

Why are the accent parts in the undersuit sometimes blue for the yellow pack

then for the blue pack they are sometimes yellow

and then for red, we're back to blue again

Mismatching the color choices used in different packets involving those colors seems like a mistake or re-using assets to save money and trying to make it less obvious by not having the colors match for 2 out of 3. Better to not match for any and then explain that this is intentional.

around 12usd for this? Inflation seems to have hit pretty hard in the 3300's... at least when it comes to on foot stuff. I'll stick to the much cheaper prices of space ships. You footies are burning credits.

Intentional or not, some of the other packs I checked out since launch have the same issues where the mentioned colour and the accents seem to swap around. At least they're consistent.

Am I reading this right? Someone took pictures with red components of another suit pack and complained the problem was the new vintage suits?

Someone is complaining because in the thumbnails of the newly released retro suits (which he hasn't bought, the suit in the main window is what his character's currently wearing) the little accent colours in the undersuit don't match the colours in the descriptions, even though the accent pieces (which do) go over it. Something Zac has confirmed is intentional, and per the actual advertising images is correct.

These are now the lengths people are going to, in order to have a pop at the game and the people behind it.
