Man, that would really make me upset, as CGs are my "end game". Surely this falls under critical updates that Frontier promised for console players, does it not?Yep, known issue in busy systems unfortunately as reported by a number of PS5 players.
Critical to not break PS4 build code base... PS5 BC mode failure not PS4 game code failure wont be critical fix...Man, that would really make me upset, as CGs are my "end game". Surely this falls under critical updates that Frontier promised for console players, does it not?
Well that sucks. I'm curious, are there are other PS4 games that are broken on PS5?Critical to not break PS4 build code base... PS5 BC mode failure not PS4 game code failure wont be critical fix...
Title remains PS4 only code base..
Yes there were lots that had crashes on PS5 that were not crashing on PS4... many have had "enhanced for PS5 modes" and bug fixes...Well that sucks. I'm curious, are there are other PS4 games that are broken on PS5?

Horizion zero dawn was broken on PS5 was fine on PS4, GG fixed it..
JC 4 was broken on PS5 was fine on PS4, Averlance studio fixed it..
Truck driver still is broken on PS5 with game crashes that dont happen on PS4, Will have native version released
Realfarm has more crashes on PS5 native version than PS4 version...
But it is a choice for developer they have a get out clause put on every Digital down load screen on PS4 store...
OR they could wait for SIE changes in firmware which "Might" fix what ever was wrong in BC mode which is still not runing in 100% clone of PS4 mode...I used to religiously defend consoles against PC, but it's getting harder and harder for me to do that these days... Still, the decent thing for Frontier to do would be fix these PS5 "critical bugs" (which crashing at a CG qualifies for IMO). It's one thing not to offer something new like Odyssey, it's another not to fix what people already paid for (even if it is Sony's fault that said thing is broke).
