I've got nothing to wear...does mooning a passing ship work at lightspeed?

I crashed my ship several weeks back...paid insurance... and all came back as it was EXCEPT MY SUITS!!

An 11,500,000 cred level 3 suit didn't return. I went to Pioneer and eventually found a similar one. Paid for it, outfitted it and returned to my Anaconda.

I checked my "pull down" suit loadout screen and my new suit was not there!

I've been messing with this suit crap trying to get the game to puke them back but no go...my suits disappear between Pioneer and my vessel!! I am down to 1 damn flight suit other than the original!!! (...and without night-vision). (I can't go out naked...other Commanders will giggle :sneaky:.)

Come the frick on FDEV(s). I let at lot of what I consider minor stuff pass for the sake of trying to relax playing ED but this is getting Ludacris!

Please fix...my bug report was seemingly ignored!

have you checked your loadout screen? you have to create a loadout for a suit before you can wear it
Edit nevermind just read it carefully , this is weird as you should have a all suits there , even dying wont cause you to lose your suit , raise a support ticket not a bug report this will help you quicker

I submitted a "bug" ticket when this first started 2 weeks ago...no response. Not even a "huh!?" til I posted this mini rant and you responded. BTW thanks.

Never heard of suits disappearing post death / rebuy screen
There is a solid chance you're doing or not doing something - like, it's not enough to buy suits, you need to use the loadout screen to create loadouts. Aka select a suit, equip weapons, cosmetics eventually, then save the loadout. With emphasis on save

Anyway, i'm pretty sure the support will solve your issues, if you contact them (support, not issue tracker...)

Funny you mention that, I was convinced that I had purchased some level 2-3 suits and weapons and one day they were all gone. I wasn't doing much FPS for weeks so I began to second guess myself and I assumed i might have accidentally sold them or something. Maybe it was a bug of some sort 🤔

I just submitted an actual "bug" ticket this morning to supplement my "issue" issuing (not "bug" as sated in OP) and my mini-rant (above). Maybe they'll find the problem o_O.

No. It doesn't. If they are traveling at the speed of light, the light reflected by you would never reach them. They would never actually see you until they slowed down and the light was able to reach them. By that time, of course, they'd be too far away to see it.

I stll disagree the act of mooning can be carried out if 1xc lightspeed was possible and gravity not a crush factor
weather the opossing ship sees it is irrelevant
hence the act of mooning always works, weather it has the desired effect or not is another question
(mmm would it be wrong to moon the visually impaired? not sure if schrodinger's cat farted open the box and observe only and you still wont know🤷‍♂️ )
