Nothing, but the launcher will only present the game(s) to launch that the account owns which you logged on with.

Talk to customer support about getting a refund maybe? It will probably depend on how much you have used it (hours played). You are not the only one in this situation, hopefully FDev will understand & capitulate.

For a second Arthur mentioned in parts 'some of you have' and 'then tin foiled hatted' and then he changed the subject because he didn't want to give too much away. I get the impression that whatever it is has been touched upon by some here. And whatever it is hasn't been done before in ED. My two top guesses are either on foot thargoids or ship interiors.

There will not be ship interiors as part of EDO. Maybe one day in another dlc. Not this November. Not in EDO. Not going to happen.

Don't decommission the carrier, buy 2nd carrier on PC, transfer cargo to PC carrier, decommission old carrier, transfer credits using new carrier. Or keep both depending on what you are doing the console account.

Yep, I had forgotten the part about the old console account still being playable when I said that. Once I realized, I definitely did a little dance. My research will continue! To RAXXLA!

They've only had 4 years to develop more ships! They need more time!

Kind of like how they announced dropping all console support but had absolutely nothing in place the day it was announced lol They made us wait 3 months for this.

FD is always prepared to do the wrong thing first and then do the right thing after making you wait.

Also bummer my FC won't be saved. My crew I'd done everything with since day one and all my stats...just gone. As my NPC crew I've had for years...gone. There must be something key about them that isn't allowed to be transfered unlike say how your commander looks.

But I'm not going to lie. I didn't expect anything from FD from how they dropped the ball on everything and were COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY UNPREPARED for the reaction after dropping console support. This should have been ready day one of the announcement no excuses.

But credit where credit is due, you did it FD when I geuuinelly did not expect you to do so.

But for future reference, I don't care to hear excuses or why you messed up or anything like that. Be more prepared in the future please.

I mean it isn't the same as simply having it transferred, but you can decomission it, get the 5 bil, transfer your assets and buy it again on PC, if you so choose.

Agreed, I honestly wasn't expecting cosmetics to transfer, let alone transfer over how they are applied, saving the time of having to redo all ship customizations for my whole fleet. They're doing more than I thought they would do.

I think thargoids on foot are a pretty safe guess for the "big" november update. I mean they said they would start to seed new story content in summer (and thats most likely not new CGs or GalNet articles) which leads to the grand reveal. So I am guessing new locations, artifacts and preparations for our on foot AX warfare.

Arthurs mentioning of "something never been done before in ED" was also quite odd. Ah, well, we will see. At least the game isn't dead.

If the key feature overhaul is Powerplay, it would be very welcome if you guys were transparent about it so we PPers don't keep the rest of the year sinking time and effort in something that is set to get redone and won't matter.

Or at least say that it is safe to continue spending time in it - no need to reveal if it the key feature is even Powerplay to begin with, or if whatever reworking is at least compatible with the existing system.
