We all know what this is...right? Right?

Krait CMDRS will finally be able to get coffee from that coffee maker!!

For a second Arthur mentioned in parts 'some of you have' and 'then tin foiled hatted' and then he changed the subject because he didn't want to give too much away. I get the impression that whatever it is has been touched upon by some here. And whatever it is hasn't been done before in ED. My two top guesses are either on foot thargoids or ship interiors.
or atmospheric planets

The point I'm making to the fellow I'm replying to is that all three of my "other space games" have had new ships added recently.

And that make any of them better than ED?
If not, why is that of any importance for Elite?
If so, play that game instead of ED?
Because based on the yesterday's announcement it doesnt seem FD will release any new ships - unless they're tied with the narrative and they cannot reveal that

At this point i'm not even sure FD should bother to release any new ships, simply because if those ships are not way better than what we currently have in the game they will get a lot of flak for wasting dev time on them like it happens everytime they release something - see for example the Scorpion

When we transferred my son from PS to PC, we had to create the PC account first for them to add the credits to.

So …Yeh … I think I will at least raise a request to do this, once they say the new transfer process is available, as I’d like to keep the same CMDR name (I am similarly “tolm” on both) and not lose 2 billion credits!!
Hey Tolm,

I deffo won't be transferring over and have moved onto other games.

If you or any of our old squadmates are short on pennies send me a msg on PSN.

My 40 billion in assets is just sat there and I'd be more than happy to liquidate and transfer them over to you guys.

Nothing but text updates for the next year and you're worried about wasting dev time?

I love the potential credit duplication exploits and how nobody mentioned it.
Then you didn't quite understand it. People could transfer credits via FCs back to console accounts after it has been duplicated (or from other accounts who simply want to duplicate their money). Doing this multiple times yields exponential increase per account transfer.

Credits duplication it's real. *(spoiler)
But at this point one can see it as a bonus towards the Consoleers (pretty much like the free Horizons account is also a bonus)

However, there is a chance they might decide to transfer the credits instead of copying them (while still copying everything else like ships, modules, cosmetics, etc)
Which would make sense.

for the people that still dont get it, here is a scenario:
  • my xb account has 20bn, my steam account has 20bn, my epic account has 7bn, total wealth 47bn in cash
  • i can use one of my carriers to transfer credits from my pc accounts to my xb account
  • that means my xb account will end up having 47bn + 7bn from its own carrier, 54bn
  • transfer happens and now i have an xb account with 54bn and a new pc account with 54 bn.
  • after rebuying my carriers back for both my xb and my new pc account, i'm still left with 94 billions
  • even if i dont bother to do those pre-transfer credits movements - since they might look fishy and might trigger FD - the copy might still mean adding 20 bn to my general wealth

Happy that I can transfer my CMDR to PC! A little bit sad about the Carriers though. I have well over 200 Thargoid Hearts, SAP-8 Cores, and Trinkets of Hidden Fortune aboard mine for Raxxla research purposes and I guess I have to lose all those now. Still worth it for keeping all my other progress. Thank you FDev, I know I have been very critical (and still will be when you mess up again, lol), but I can at least recognize effort when I do see it. I know sorting all this transfer details out behind closed doors probably took a decent amount of staff hours and took management away from other stuff, so for myself and the console community, thank you for taking the time to work this out for us. While we would have loved to see continued development on consoles, this transfer will be an ok compromise for at least some of the users from these platforms. Hopefully someday in the future, two or so years maybe, Fdev can reassess if Next Gen console support will be worth it, that is if the game is still being developed for at that point in time. Once again, thank you.
You won’t lose them as they will still be on your console account .

or atmospheric planets
Hmmm ammonia worlds with thick atmospheres would fit the story narrative and a technical first and the direction of the new era development angle. Although I read the “never been done before” more along the lines of how the narrative would play out in the game rather than the actual content though. I’m torn on a new planet type though as it fits just as well as a new DLC business-wise and also the sudden leap to complex atmosphere type.

Once you go to PC you will never want to look at a console again. Trust me, i know. I went to PC in 2018 and PC makes console look like a toaster in comparison.

With that you would need liquids, clouds and new flora and fauna. That could pave the way to ELWs and Terrestrial WWs.

So your question was actually "the most wanted game in terms of new ships". Perhaps you have a problem if you assume that for every silly one-liner you have to read and understand an entire thread with every single post? That's not how this forum works - nor, I'm afraid, any other forum. And btw, I did click on Old Duck's comment, but even then it still doesn't make sense to me.
Oh , do you just argue to argue? You read one line, made an assumption, then became a keyboard warrior. Not that I have to explain myself to you, but here's a screenshot to help with your comprehension.
