My restaurants only got 50% positive rating, because...

there's two ratings. Refreshing drinks - yay, and I need to pee. Each of my restaurants has a toilet right next to it. The guests come, spend hours eating and drinking, instead of spending a few seconds to pee and then eat and drink and give me a 100% rating :)

(As if I didn't have a toilet :p)

The guests are about as smart as a 4 year old when it comes to using the bathroom. I watched one guest that very much had to pee walk past multiple bathrooms and was very unhappy because she had to use the bathroom. Just turn left and walk in, dummy.

I would say even dumber than 4 Years. It's always ,,I want to see the Polar Bears, I want to see the Green Iguanas, I want to see the Timberwolves" but then they just walk past them and then complain that they didn't have enough Time to see every Animal they wanted. Guests definitely need some Improvement

I'm also wondering if anyone's found any tips to help with this. For example, does it help if toilet and restaurant are in the same building group (the way scenery calculations often happen). Or, does placing the toilet near the restaurant entrance/hallway, rather than on the side/back, help? Alternatively, is it that the draw of the restaurant is too high (so excited to eat!) that they forget everything else when they're near it.... and suggesting that in addition to restrooms right next to restaurants (like in real life), we may also need to be placing some at a particular distance away from the restaurants, just outside of the radius where guests start to get pulled in, so that more guests who do enter the restaurant radius start with emptier bladders?

If it's simply that guests are staying too long that their restroom need calculations plummet over time (like animals who are "stressed" because they fell asleep where guests can see them), then I guess I can accept that. After all, some of us do act like four year olds some of the time. LOL! But I'm legitimately interested if there's a in-game management solution that we just haven't thought of yet. (similar to how bedding can influence where animals sleep, in my stress example).

In my current zoo and also in the one on the picture, toilet and restaurant are in the same building group. I now built a restaurant where the toilet is right next to the entrance. And still I only get 50% positive rating because guests need to pee. I would also like to know if it's possible to get 100% positive restaurant rating how to handle the toilet thing.

Do you have enough toilets throughout the rest of the zoo - my guests don't have that much of an issue but I don't think they are arriving with high toilet need. I haven't looked at in detail though - let me go see what my franchise with restaurant looks like in terms of ratings.

The 50% for having to pee seem to be pretty normal for restaurant ratings.
Nearly all of my guests are coloured green in the heatmap for need of toilets, only very few are yellow, none is red. (Therefor I think, I've got enough toilets in my zoo.) Nonetheless only 50% rating in restaurant for "I have to pee".
lol

Yes having messed around with mine I think it just the way the mechanic works with the restaurants and might be worth raising with Frontier as a wanted change in, for example, the next meta-update list

It certainly sounds like a bug. Might be worth raising on the issue tracker as well.
