Odds of the next animal pack being the "Savannah animal pack"

We've seen that they've already started making DLC's by biomes, no longer by continents, and I believe there's a high chance that the next one will be on prairies or savannas.
Animals I believe will come:
African leopard
Maned wolf
blue wildebeest
African spurred tortoise
Caracal
baboon (probably the hamadryas)
African crested porcupine
black rhinoceros
Chamaleon (exhibit animal)
Greater rhea

What other animals and enrichment toys do you think will come in this possible DLC?

I think this is extremely likely, though it may focus on both deserts and grasslands. If the most logical choice to counter balance wetlands. Although if it was avians or a return to Oceania I’d be happy too.

Your list of animals is really good, but I’ll add in the Przewalskis Horse, Emu, and Secretary Bird as potential as well. I’d actually be shocked if the Horse didn’t get included, and possibly be the “starring” animal as well.

Yes, I was kind of doubtful to put the horse because I thought he was only from the desert, after I saw that he is from savannas too
The rhea is a good candidate, I think she has a better chance than the baboon, the secretary, I like him but the rest of the community doesn't seem to want him

I still think we get an scenery pack but I would say there is a 50/50 chance that it will be region or biome based. As I personally think there is a good chance that there could be packs in 2023 I could Imagines that this year scenery packs are still mixed with animal packs whereas next year werden just could get animal packs (of course if there should still be support). Three or perhaps four or even 5 bigger regions are still missing in my opinion. The first two regions are East Asia and India (together Greater Asia), the third ist Central America and the fourth which I would call perhaps ist Greater Oceania. The fifth is the middle east Region. In kind of biome based packs there are different options like desert, grassland, tropical rainforest (unlikely because it cpuld be to close to the wetlands pack perhaps) and I also would mention islands pack.
In Kind of a Region based pack I personelly would bet on India, regarding biomes desert could be the choice

Assuming animal packs will indeed focus on biomes, I think a grassland pack is possible at some point (more so than a savannah pack). This could include some of your species (not the tortoise and chameleon) as well as some others that have been mentioned (Przewalski's wild horse, emu) and perhaps the blackbuck or guineafowl.

The secretary bird is the second most popular bird after the Emu in the Meta Wishlist and only 2 votes behind place 10. So a big part of the community wants it. And in my opinion the baboon belongs to these species which are a must-have for a zoo game as others which are missing like a leopard species, the Emu and perhaps the Dromedary Camel.

Well I put the animals that i particularly want in the game, if my list is weak, make yours
As for the 9 habitat animals, well, I can't remove any of them, I didn't focus on making exact numbers the same as always comes in DLC's

I do not find your list Weak. There are 5 animals on your list which are top 20 in the Meta Wishlist. Perhaps you could change the greater Rhea with the Emu and then you would even have 6 top ranked animals from the top 20 🙂

It's hard to say whether it will be 'likely' or not. Traditionally the Summer DLC has been based around animals from deserts/grasslands (Austraia Pack, Africa Pack) but it's unlikely the Summer DLC will be an Animal Pack. The Autumn DLC will probably be an Animal Pack, but that isn't likely to be a desert/grasslands theme.

Maybe then, Przewalski's Horse, Emu, Maned Wolf and Crested Porcupine, to represent four continents as the habitat animals? Or leaving out an Emu so that we can get them in an Oceania animal pack and put in the Caracal?

At any rate, I think the two most likely for this type of pack are the Maned Wolf and P. Horse.

I'm hoping that a "dry lands" pack will be an animal pack because there are so many iconic grassland/desert animals to still include in the game: Prezwalski's, saiga, emu, secretary bird, rhea, dromedary, scimitar horned oryx, maned wolf, leopard, armadillo, caracol, perentie...

Because the pattern indicates that the next pack will be a scenery pack, I'm hoping that it's something different. An Island pack (Kiwi, Tasmanian Devil, Japanese Serrow, Fossa) or a Garden Pack (Red Fox, Racoon, Golden Pheasant, Mandarin duck) with lots of plants and scenery to fill things in and interest the builders while we wait for fall's "meatier" animal pack.

Most of the animals I found on the site and on the wishlist that are from the savannah are from Africa, but you can make your suggestions and ideas for me to add to the post

I'd really like that. They could also add Mute Swans and European Rabbits. Maybe even Squirrels.
A Urban Pack could also work nicely with Animals like Red Foxes, Coyotes, Wild Boars, Mute Swans, Mallard Ducks, Raccoons, also aren't Hanuman Langurs and/or Rhesus Macaques often living in Citys in India?, I think I've heard once that Indian Leopards are also relatively often appearing in urban Areas which would give us a rather unexpected Animal and a Leopard Subspecies that is actually pretty common in Captivity
Edit: oops, one Animal too much if they would only take one of the Primates. I assume it would be either Red Fox or Coyote anyways instead of both

I agree that a general "drylands" pack to balance out the wetlands pack is likely, and if we do get it, I think it'll most likely be an animal pack, since I'm not sure what sort of building theme it could include.

I think a drylands (desert + grassland) pack is a strong possibility but it’s too soon to say that they’ve switched to biomes since there’s only been one so far - hardly a pattern. In any case, it’s likely the next pack will be a mixed scenery/animal pack (4 habitat species, 1 exhibit + theme). If it is a savanna or drylands or etc. pack I very much doubt there will be such a focus on one continent (7/10)
