I got in the top 10 with 4,108t of meta alloys, but there is not much point moaning since there is no reward for the top 10.
Or have only couple of hours Thursday/Friday night after work......Todays CG location was allready found yesterday, so todays CG will also have allowed CZ combat bonds to be stacked a head of the start at 1PM IGT if it is todays CG...
So any body who stated yesterday will have an advantage over those who only started today..
Kudos to Top 10 Cmrds. You guys rock, worked hard for it for months and years and you deserve the reward. The top 10 become totally unreachable, and does not reward the effort of players
Well, i don't have 4 hours a day to play any game. This is why i think the reward system is unfair when it is based on percentage. It will always reflect free time. Which i think is discouraging for the vast majority CMDRs.Well, Top 10 will always be reserved for thenutsmost dedicated commanders with enough time (and a certain degree of skill) to go along with that dedication
I disagree here.
At an average rate of 150t per hour, 3000 tons means 20h. That's quite an effort, but nothing out of the ordinary for someone that can dedicate 4h per day to their hobby
Catch-22For me it was only the 6A rack that I wanted. Sure, the almost 2 billion credits were nice, but certainly not needed anymore. With over 10 billion in cash and more in the carrier reserve I skip most CGs that are credits only, unless I'm invested in the story. I really hope the size 5 and 6 racks make it to the tech brokers rather sooner than later. Preferably before the upcoming CG where they'll become useful.
It always is a catch 22. If the next phase launches without them available at the brokers, players who didn't get them will cry foul again. I'm happy for every special CG module that makes it to the brokers, since that allows me to get more of them.Catch-22
That then invalidates the hours of re-logging that FDev demanded of everyone to harvest.
Agree, it's mostly the top 10% one that gets the most complaints. Why skip the top 25% entirely ?I feel this entire complaint is moot. You just didn't want to do the work.
From CG start to CG end using low-g limpets I harvested nearly over 6K meta while also keeping active in the other 3 AXI goals.
I got myself and 2 squadies into the 10%.
I got 5 more squadies and a random CMDR from this board (@Felix DiCestria) into the 50%.
I did all that on my own after the initial dump.
I can understand you not having enough time to grind the 10% but anyone could have made 50% without issue.
While not easy to accomplish, I don't think you can call it "unfair"

I'm totally in agreement with any CMDR feeling the top reward tier should have been 25%.Agree, it's mostly the top 10% one that gets the most complaints. Why skip the top 25% entirely ?

That were cosmetics, I'm fine with thatYou cannot expect to invest 4 hours per week in the game and get the same level of achievements as someone that sinks 20 hour per week in game.
However as i said more than once, i do think the top10% tier for rewards was too much. Top25% should have been the top tier in terms of rewards.
But let's not forget that Colonia Bridge series of CG had special rewards for TOP10 commanders. Competition was quite fierce
Congrats dude!I feel this entire complaint is moot. You just didn't want to do the work.

Not a CG, but an individual contest.I find exclusive rewards for certain brackets bad in general. CGs have become the very opposite of a "community goal". Instead of striving for a common goal, the community is competing against itself and everyone is after their personal gain.![]()
Not if you found the SRV fun (Like star trek strange new worlds ) then no... If its boring beyond all things crushing your soul ( aka startrek discovery) Then god yes as it reduces the time spent in the life sucking SRV in a space ship game making you drive the ground planet based SRV...Just curious: was necessary using relogs for this CG?
I meant naming stations and megashipsThat were cosmetics, I'm fine with that![]()
I'd have given them a trade-off. All sizes available, but each corrosion-resistant one would hold only half the tonnage of a regular one.The higher capacity cargo modules should have been made broker-available a long time ago...
