Not so much a leak, but the hint on the CM stream that there would still be a 'goid collection CG but the existing stocks of tissue samples wouldn't count was enough information for some to guess that they should stock up on MA instead. Plus, lots of carriers had long-standing stock from when Odyssey bases were selling them in bulk, presumably just gradually selling them over time to new players in need of the Farseer unlock.

Thought I'd be kicked out the top 10 cmdrs, but i managed to stay in until the end.
And I'm pretty proud of how accurately I predicted the 10% cutoff. Every last load of meta-alloys ended up being necessary.
Not just MA, Guardian items as well as "Materials" as well
If you use a small ship you can scoop as you fly by as well no limpets required...
If the ground is smooth enough Small ships can scoop direct grounded items into scoop...
I actually didnt push that hard to be honest... I only farmed 3 days ( not back to back)I still think the top10% was pushing it way too much.
The 6A should have been given to top25%
For about just 3 hours each till my T-9 was full.

If you were willing to work with FC owners and those who got Thargoid related items beforehand...
You could purchase on or sell to FC users.
There were players willing to do 30 mins of MA collection for 100MA and then sell to FC for ~1.9mill per ton...
Those FC owners can buy MA then use the MAs as they see fit and that means using them for the CG if they want at a cost to them...
Or sell to users who want to buy and then use them on the CG...
Player market, the station was a low price in this CG...

Yes - last friday I've found FC in Deciat (using Inara) selling about 3100 MA at highest price, about 1,9 M. I bought them all and brought to prof Palin, and added about 150 from my own. The whole week I was in top 10 cmdrs, but at the end I fell to top 10%. It was loss about 1,2 B - but it's ok because I still have >40 B and no chance to spend.

Well we got... pretty expensive anti-corrosion cargo racks class 6E, 5E and 4E... Don't see those "6A", "5A" and "4A"... maybe A and E is same letter in Morten-Marte system.

That's the wrong ones, it was 4A, 5A and 6A CRCR. The A-rated ones can block Thargoid scans.
