Am I reading this correctly, we are now collectively bashing Fdev for being open about their schedule and letting us know in advance that the update is one week late due to delays / holidays, while also giving us a specific date on when to expect it? Nice.

Not me. I'm bashing England for having 200 banking holidays a year (which apparently everyone takes off, so why call it a "banking" holiday)

We've having a go at Frontier for once more missing dates that they set, yes. I suggest that Frontier set a date internally and then automatically add two weeks onto it before they announce it.

Nah, I'll be playing 'Spirit of Steam' which is scheduled to release on 31 May, will release on 31 May and has (cab and coach) interiors to boot

How many a year does the US have - sure it's more than the UK - we normally have 8. It's just that most of ours come in bunch, and then we have none for ages.

As the bank holiday dates are pretty widely published I suspect the intention was originally to release the update this week, if it was next week I suspect someone said reality check guys do you really expect there to be no issues at all with this release it is going to be a very short week to try and fix something in.

But that doesn't mean FD doesn't handle this stuff pretty poorly. Not sure why you insist on making it either/or.

IIRC the number of bank holiday equivalents is pretty similar but they get fewer holidays from their employers.
