Win/loss record wont change

I've played through everything but challenge modes. In Chaos mode my dinos were CONSTANTLY fighting. Now in sandbox, I can't get them to fight hardly at all. I've tried tweaking genes, making their habitats terrible, and sticking them with others they don't like. When they do fight, it doesn't update their win/loss record. It is really starting to annoy me as the only research nodes I have left are the ones that depend of the fight records! They fight, injure one another, and it still doesn't change the fight record! I cannot figure out why! Is it a bug? I want to unlock the freaking t-rex and hybrids!!!

im playing on pc through Xbox game pass

For me the fights are fine (I play Xbox Series X), my highest winner is my Ceratosaurus at around 10 victories. But I'm having issues with disease research, I have around 4 that aren't seeming to be contracted so I'm not getting the option to research them. My Dinos only tend to get injured more than anything else.
Strange...

Fighting is a bit of a chore, I find that if you give them enough time/opportunity to fight, they'll do it.

It must be a PC issue.

Finally found a combo of dinos that hated each other enough that they fought constantly. Got my wins and losses! But yeah, must be a pc bug because even then not every fight was counting.

Some diseases are specific to aquatic animals, and others require small enclosure issues and other various environmental needs not being met. Took me a while to get the water ones since I rarely didn't give enough room to them for that long of time period for it to pop up.
