credits? all trade missions are 10-16k only. when will they start offering more?

From what I understand you have to increase your standings with the faction offering the missions before you get to the better missions ( I could be wrong on this ) but I did spend quite awhile in one system doing missions between 2 stations and eventually started getting missions for 50-60 k

Once you get a hauler with 16+ cargo capacity, sometimes you'll see missions for stations (high tech areas) looking to buy rare metals or superconductors. The payouts there are usually 50-70K to haul about 7 or so tonnes of them. Less purchase price of the goods, it's usually 50% payout. In between, you should be selling normal commodities.

I had 18T to haul to NANG TA-KHIAN for around 120,000 about an hour ago, all I paid for was fuel

in the right system you can also get some really good 'bring me stuff' missions, i just completed one for 6 tonnes of palladium that earned my in excess of 300k

Are these numbers new? Because really it's quite stupid that I can make 30k from a single mission of 5x Animal Meat to Freeport in my first 5 minutes of play. What else can compare to those numbers at the start?

Just remember - most people won't have 5 cargo slots available when they start to take advantage of it...

This was a benefit of B2-B3 jump - A few backers will start with a Cobra, from my understanding, but the rest of us will be kissing that job goodbye, for the first few hours at least...

Z...

But you just have to sell the scanner and add a 2-slot bay.

Not in a Sidewinder you can't, 4t max capacity.

real men haul cargo without shields (10T in my sidewinder)

haha, shields and loaned lasers :) once was not able to jump and deliver for 80000k due to being overweight by 0.5T, fuel was at minimum. Remember frantically trying to lose more stuff so I could make the ship lighter, would have cut off of one of the landing struts if I could ;)

That's pretty unique to Freeport. Because it's an anarchy, you get a bonus for carrying cargo there.

Missions to Freeport seem to pay 5x-10x what comparable missions to other systems pay. Good work if you can find it.

Lucrative missions are available and crop up fairly regularly when you work the systems and have qudos there. Im an ally at aulin and get quite a few fetch missions for 50 90 and bigger. Not all profit of course but around 100% mark up. And i stock up in the commodities which come up regularly to make a killing. My last trade last night had about 6 missions attached, picked up another one straight away and sold the rest for about 500k. T6 with 100t and 6.5m through trading and with no weapons...

On the other hand... a good Sidewinder pilot doesn't need shields ;-)
