COMPLETED CG Appeal for Supplies to Relaunch the Golconda (Trade)

I only became aware of this CG at about 0700 CDT. I managed to offload about six thousand tons. The last run was interdicted by pirates, so my last load didn't make the cutoff.

About three hours of time invested. The FC is headed back, with enough cash for thirty weeks.

So how did everyone do in this CG? For myself even with limited game time (in my opinion) and the server issues I managed to get 4.1 billion from this CG, wow, Thank you Fdev! Now I can afford a FC, but do I really want one???
Quite well, I have managed to get myself some new decals out of it as well as probably enough to build an FC and go and actually do some exploration, time to start researching the important stuff like what colour works best and what I want to call it.

Oh, I see the title of this thread is now "COMPLETED CG". I guess I really and truly did miss it! Well, I was (and still am) there, and I got to see lots of hollow squares in Horizons, so that made it worth the trip. And there's still a bounty hunting CG to played, though ironically I'll be protecting traders who are no longer trading, LOL.

"Only" 640 tons of cargo space, but you get 167 ly loaded, ~500 m/s boost and (in theory) Open survivability (as long as you run instead of fighting, at least). "In theory" because, although I'm ok with RP pirates, I didn't like wasting my time on gankers in this CG so I ran in PG/solo. The server hiccups the last couple of days also didn't encourage me to switch back to Open.
Thanks - that is one pretty tough ship for hauling. Looks like you could beat the tar out of any PvE gankers, if not the PvP ones :)
Personally I invariably run CGs in solo, as I just don't need the hassle.

My total yield from this was a little under 3 billion and I'm more than happy with that.
The last bit went a little off script though... I was finally replenishing my carrier stocks some way off while still contemplating an extra run or 3 to Fozard. Then real life got in the way and cost me some precious time, but I still reckoned I could fit 3 runs in easy enough. So... I set the carrier to jump to a star near the CG and took a break for 15 or 20 minutes, only to discover when I returned that the carrier jump was still over an hour away - clearly the wondrous hamsters that coordinate jumps across the galaxy hadn't been fed enough for the strain of today. So then plan B was to jump back to my carrier, hop in the T9 and try and salvage just one load (I was 7 jumps away in the T9, argh). In the end I docked in Fozard maybe 2 minutes after the CG ended but happily the price hadn't yet dropped! :ROFLMAO:

The title being, Protect Efforts to Relaunch the Golconda, I think it's fair to rp that there's non-trade activities to defend as well. Whoever is moving all that fuel from Fozard to the actual ship, for instance!
I happily accept your restoration of my immersion! :D

Suddenly, FDEVs dunped so much money on the players and everyone is happy and several who almost forgot about having it installed came back to the game.

Amazing succes... now, with new player stats at hand, they can sell the company!

I've dumped nearly 5k/t I had on the carrier, lost 100m in rebuys (like I went kaboonm 20 times or so in a Clipper) but did some profit at the end... 🤪

Would've been cool to get in on it more and actually make more credits, but I spent most of that time getting dropped from the servers.
I hear there were some issues with east coast U.S. servers mostly?

That was done (by me) within minutes of the CG finishing. :)

If somebody missed the CG and wants to earn some Credits:
I am refueling my Carrier from 0 to 15000t in HIP 44890 and I am paying 200% of the avg for tritium so a little more then 100k.
Both Stations in the system are selling tritium but only medium landing pads.
