They postponed the release because of something that needs fixing (like a new bug). Since they haven't said anything, they are not in a comfortable place to know if they can release tomorrow yet. No one will guess publicly (by publishing release notes) if they can release or not before before it is clear that whatever caused the delay is under control. The release notes themselves were no doubt already 99% complete yesterday.
Remember when telemetry for flight sim chairs was a priority item (one of the highest voted)? Those 3 players who have them (and totally not the many dozens of cheating oriented players looking for a way to create bots easier than OCR methods) have been waiting so long for that extremely important feature.
