Now i trapped in the space station forever

Today i have a big problem.After a foot combat death,I respawn in a Detention Center in space,but i found that everytime i broad my ship,it would cause a network drop problem.So i back to the lobby of the detetion centre,and book a shuttle to a space station nearby.But when I reach the station，I found that ,i can neither transfer my ship from the Detention Center to my current postion(click confim tansfer ,then back to ship merchant and nothing happend),nor buy a new ship or active my other ship in the station(the game ask me to sell my cargo of my current ship first).So I am actually traped in this place.
Please help.TKS.

Interesting. I had a similar issue yesterday before the hotfixes hotfix went out. I was giving the escape pod in my carrier a go to see if it was faster to have 2 cutters running cargo from a nearby station and I got the exact same message. I was unable to use or board my ship until I sold my cargo (which I didn't have any, I'd transferred it to the fleet carrier before getting in the escape pod and transfering the cutter back to the station). Tried transfering another ship, bought a sidewinder, wouldn't let me use any of them. Relog fixed it for me ... wish I'd thought of that first; by that point I had 4 ships to transfer :)

And it wasn't faster anyway. :LOL:

I believe that the underlying issue is that you had cargo on your distant ship. The game is hard wired not to allow ship transfers when a ship has cargo aboard. That's why you got the message about selling the cargo before the cargo can be transferred.

Now that sounds like the best answer. I bet you are correct.

When this happens the game is meant to give you the option of discarding the cargo. A few updates ago, saying yes to confirm this would just give an error instead of doing it. That was fixed, but once again an old problem has reappeared in a slightly different way (the option to discard the cargo is now never given).
