Yarrr! Hows the piracy these days?

So update12 mentioned a price change when selling stolen goods at anarchy black markets.

Anyone tried it out yet? I had planned to poke my nose in and do some reaserch like where is the best spots and so on but haven't had the time as of yet

Yarr and uwu lets steal cargo for archon delaine's empire

We need web sites to catch up... to update 12
Inara has confirmed the change is coming but not instantly and might be months...
Anarchy pay rise will change profit margins but untill every one sells to the same station to keep boom going at the anarchy station the bonus is going to be short term... Web tools will high light the Anarchy black market + boom+ civil liberty station and then selling there will keep the boom state longer..

Its still stupidly easy to get LTD its just extremely hard to sell for a good price... new web tools are going to help but its still going to be a slog...

Platinum Is going to be the best and highest selling item at 300K at the new anarchy stations black markets... while you wait for LTD to one day go high price...

Supercruse ship take down is the same as its always been. Until you manifest scan. its still RNG on the Quantity that will be in the ship your insured cargo type on some ship type classes but high units numbers is still never insured...

Station ship raiding continues the removal of having to pull the ship over from hyperspace makes it quicker and cargo come to you...

Raiding the miner in the ring is rewarding but way to random and needs the correct system modifier states active.

Mega ship raiding is fun but has way more RNG on the cargo type but you get a lot more rare goods show up and some of the names are fun to see...
A single mega ship class will allways give you high priced cargo but in low supply (each cargo rack should be considered a small T7 ship...)

I am wondering myself about all this strange pirates, that are robbing realtively poor traders by demanding something to eat for their children... and then return the stolen goods to their fleet carrier with uncountable ships on it. Where are the real pirates, that have to do this because they are poor or outcasts from society? Not in this game so far...

I'm decommissioning my pirate ship, if that tells you anything. It was fun during the days of Borann, but since then, well nothing lives up to that experience.

These days when I want PvP, I just hunt people pledged to enemy powers. If I want credits, there are a dozen better and more fun ways to do so PvE. The only thing I can think of that would make PvE piracy "worth it" is either role play or some sort of BGS manipulation.

But I never was a real serious pirate, so don't take my word for any of this.

To take advantage of the price rise people will need to do the manipulation on the BGS of the anarchy stations or the price is going to stay low at the stations any way...
The price rise may be the key to having a push to do that BGS for Anarchy faction...

The black market price will help for sure but in the interest of just making the game more consistent why didn’t they stop mining ships carrying leather and wine, and why don’t they carry any of the core minerals except LTDs?
To be honest I found the mere change in black market prices to be a rather insulting low effort attempt by frontier.

FYI. fellow Pirates, I recently figured out we can pirate NPC ships coming in to land at Odyssey settlements. First, disable the alarms & defences on foot, then commence the hatch breaking before/while they descend to the pad, scoop up with SRV between victims. The Sphere of Combat Piracy!
Obviously slower $$$ than in space piracy, but hey it’s fun and different. Might even work with a team mate.

Mostly junk loot so far, but maybe someone will find the LTD carrying ones somewhere.

EDH Anarchy planets bases were already found... gravity of the planets is a big issue but as you stated team work is required to over ride it ...
Same systems as industrial orbit station LTD raiding will allow LTD collection at planet industrial bases...

Good to hear. Hadn’t heard of that.

Waiting for the new web tools on inara before selling this lot...
Will also give factions Time to push anarchy stations into correct states of boom and civil liberty with the system also being high populations...
