1. Capybara
2. Scimitar horned Oryx
3. Hamadrayas Baboon
4. Alligator Snapping turtle
5. Nile Crocodile
6. Greater Rhea
7. Grey crowned Crane
8. American Alligator
9. Black Crseted Macaque
10. Yellow throated marten
11. Dromedary
12. Persian Fallow Deer
13. Asian small clawed otter
14. Lar Gibbon
15. Emu
16. Wallaby (any)
17. Kiwi (as an habitat animal)
18. Persian Leopard
19. Nubian Ibex
20. Aye Aye
So far I've got the alligator, and an ibex and a fallow deer, but notthe exact species I aimed for.
Here are my extra 5:

1. Arabian Oryx (can't believe it wasn't there before)
2. Two-toed sloth
3. Striped Hyena
4. Honey badger
5. Wild boar

Random goat, if you feel really generous (and you really don't have to), I'd like to cross the Nubian Ibex and Persian fallow deer from my original list (as the chances of getting them now dropped to zero), and replace them with:

6. Eurasian otter
7. Collared Peccary
So far I've got 3: Capybara, American Alligator, ASCO.

So I'd like to add votes for:
1. Collared peccary
2. Rock hyrax
3. Tree kangaroo (any)
This DLC gives me two slots, with the scimitar oryx and leopard, so I'm adding the Pelican and Armadillo
In summation, here is my list in it's current state:

1. Capybara Collared peccary
2. Scimitar horned Oryx Pelican (any)
3. Hamadrayas Baboon
4. Alligator Snapping turtle
5. Nile Crocodile
6. Greater Rhea
7. Grey crowned Crane
8. American Alligator Rock hyrax

19. ~Nubian Ibex
20. Aye Aye
21. Arabian Oryx
22. Two-toed sloth
23. Striped Hyena
24. Honey badger
25. Wild boar

That actually raises a question; since 'Leopard' is just one spot on the list, does the whole thing disappear now, or do just the Amur votes go away?

Normally, the other subspecies should go into the list as subspecies of species already in the game are allowed. It is a again a special case just random goat can clarify 😀

Other subspecies get separate entries on the list. IMO Amur leopard and the generic no-preference "leopard" should be removed, while African, Persian, etc. become separate entries.

I think they should all go away. If people want to actively vote for another subspecies they can, but the species is in the game now.
Umm i don't agree tbh. For instance i voted the african leopard because i wanted that one over the amur (and is the second subspecies with most votes; now the first one). I know the chances of getting another leopard are almost null at this point but they should be kept as separate entries in the list in any case. That will still remove the leopard entry as a whole from the top requests and bump animals that have more votes to the top and still people can keep voting for a particular leopard they want.

I agree with you, though I would leave this up to RandomGoat's decision, since they're the ones putting the work into this list.

What I would do personally is remove the vote count for Amur Leopard and no preference -since those who voted that way, such as myself, didn't care which true leopard we got we just wanted to get one. That need is now satisfied for those votes. African Leopard is on my larger top 50 list, but it's nowhere near where my metalist submission would be.

I know the chances of getting another leopard are almost null at this point
I wouldn't say "almost null", as an African leopard could still feature as an anniversary gift, making it an actual base game animal. That would be some twist. Funny thing, a few years down the line some of the new players will think it has always been a base game animal when they play the game for the first time.

They will never, ever, ever, ever put a dlc exclusive animal in the base game. That really lowers the value of the dlc.

You mean when a base game addition follows a DLC release? Because we have the two wolves, one in base game, the other in DLC, but the DLC wolf followed the base game wolf in that example, so people knew they were paying for a second wolf.
