Radiant Quest system. About 100 quests with swapped NPCs repeating, repeating, repeating. Well, maybe it'll be 500 quests this, time it has been a few since SkyrimAs I said, it's a wait and see thing, but it would be strange if you had to join a guild to be an explorer, and if they only sent you to explore specific things it's really not that exciting, you should be able to head out and explore, and find linked content from the stuff you find, of course ED also falls down in this respect so I suppose we can't criticise too much, ED's exploration mechanic is fairly bare bones, with the most interesting stuff being story driven in the end.

He'll long be retired by then. On a cushy pillow of cash leeched and frauded from the gullible.Prediction:
20 years from now, when SC is still in beta, Chris starts comparing SC (beta) to Starfield and saying its already better than that.
Are you saying it is like Skyrim with guns, but in space?Radiant Quest system. About 100 quests with swapped NPCs repeating, repeating, repeating. Well, maybe it'll be 500 quests this, time it has been a few since Skyrim![]()
I will be a SQ42 refugee. A refugee from a game that wasn't even released. If it even exists. There'll be a load of Citisnt refugees when Starfield releases. Got word from another star system that needs our help. At least they actually get to see other star systems.
All he'll have is a shattered dream.I will be a SQ42 refugee. A refugee from a game that wasn't even released. If it even exists.
Beat that!
Quite spot on with the Howard bit, though. The rest just looks like comedic trolling.
It's a Bethesda game, of course it's Skyrim with guns. Are you saying it is like Skyrim with guns, but in space?
Depends on what "explorer" means to you. Skyrim and now Elder Scrolls Online was / is as much about exploration to me as it was / is blasting enemies with magic bolts of lightning. I suppose in this context, "exploration" might be more properly called "Sight Seeing" (it's not like Elite or NMS where you are literally the first person ever to see a certain planet), but as a "wander around Tamriel for hours looking and pretty views and collecting materials" kinda guy, I am very excited for the exploration possibilities of this game. It's a single player game aimed at a specific audience, I didn't see anything there for an explorer, but maybe there will be stuff if they have managed to really put 100 systems with many planets per system and with fully detailed planets, I will still hold my opinion until we see some more game play reveals and if it stays shooty I probably won't play it.
Like a certain Donald, no parody can beat the source material
