I just threw together this building, grouping a few staff-facilities under one building, as I sometimes like to do.
But while this looks fine, it also looks a bit bland, so I decided to improvise some kind of awning with glass panels.
However, when I added just the panels, it looked like they were just floating there, so I decided to add some supports, which ended up like the following.
So I've added some wooden panels and such to make the glass look supported, which looks much nicer to the logical brain.
Though, I came up with two ways for supports, one is to use a log arch (as seen in the middle and on the right) and the other to use singular logs (as seen on the far left).
Now, my question to you is: Which way looks nicer? - The logs on the left, which look thinner and more streamlined, or the arches on the right which look sturdier but perhaps a bit more cluttered. - You can ignore where the bottom-ends of the arches jut out over the low walls, as that can still be hidden, it's more about everything above.
Also: What else would you add or change? - Even suggestions for things in front or around (foliage and the like) are welcome, but mostly it's about the building in itself here.
I've only put down the general infrastructure in this general area and now I'm just dressing up the buildings, so the finer details come later.
Thanks for taking a look!
