Here is mine. It is a bit work in progress, but it allows me to do everything I need blindly, as I play in VR. I only need to touch the keyboard for typing in the galaxy map, and I use the mouse in the FSS. My setup is as follows:
I disabled the clutch button in the joystick control panel and use it as a mode modifier, I have set up three modes (up/blue = SRV, middle/pink=flying, down/red = combat). The clutch acts as modifier for all buttons. The basics:
- UI navigation with POV1 and first trigger
- vertical and lateral thrusters on the POV on the back of the throttle
- fwd/reverse thrusters on lower rotary on throttle
- Pinkie as boost
- SC, hyperspace, camera suite, galaxy & system map on the stick's base toggles
- fPOV1 on stick does PIPs in all modes, and has a shift state for each mode (targeting in combat and SRV, throttle 0/25/50/75 in fly mode)
- POV2 does lights, NV, cargo scoop and landing gear (normal) and firegroups and jump route targeting (shifted) in flying mode. In combat mode it does firegroups and subsystem targeting in combat plus the lights, NV, scoop and landing as shift mode.
- Lowest thumb button on the throttle is UI focus, together with POV1 on the stick it opens the cockpit panels.
- the profile uses macros for mode switching. If I switch to combat, the cockpit mode is switched to combat and hardpoints are deployed. Switching back to flying goes back to analysis mode and retracts hardpoints. Sadly this gets messed up when I switch to SRV. I have no good solution for that yet.
The profile does not have wing commands and such, as I only play solo. Some other commands might be missing or buggy, but it's how I use it, and I tweak it as I go along.
I've attached my X52 profile plus my Elite bindings as well as my RefCard.
Have fun.
