You do realise there's more than one Guardian site?"A bit longer".
Sorry, but these relog CGs are some of the worst gameplay I've ever seen.

Yeah, but traveling to those and collecting via SRV is waaaay slower than limpet farming with relogging. Not saying it's more fun, but it's the more efficient way. No contest at all.You do realise there's more than one Guardian site?![]()
See...that's what immediately disheartens me. I'm just in this for the paint job but I refuse to do the inverted limpet spam relog thing...but I feel that if I don't, there's no way I am making the top 75%.![]()
Damn, that's impressive. I did the same and my return rate was only 35%. This is on EDO.I replicated @GraphiteGB's approach and positioning as shown here, and so far I've gathered 150 items out of 168 limpets fired. That's 89.3% return rate which I think is pretty damn good. This is on EDH.
EDIT: forgot to mention I fire 8 limpets per run so that's 21 relogs.

Woooowww, If you don't mind can you take a screenshot of your hud when you are collecting the artefacts? I need to see the latitude, longitude, distance from surface & site, pitch degree, yadda yadda, etc.I did the Thargoid artifacts CG in EDO because the suggested farming location wasn't landable on EDH, and I noticed that with every relog my ship's position would change a little. All pitch, roll and yaw angles would be a little off so I had to keep readjusting, whereas in EDH my ship stays almost exactly where I left it except for a couple meters in altitude. The slightest change in positioning may throw your limpets off. You might wanna check that out.
I'm up to 95.3% return rate atm.

Hopefuly the guardian ground hover limpet is released to tech broker after the thargoids die this month.. then it will be 100% collection rate...
95.3% is very impressive! In Odyssey, I got around 35% return on my limpets. Horizons seems to be where it's at, yes.I did the Thargoid artifacts CG in EDO because the suggested farming location wasn't landable on EDH, and I noticed that with every relog my ship's position would change a little. So you're just grinding for some percentage level regardless of whether you actually enjoy what you're doing?Yeah, but traveling to those and collecting via SRV is waaaay slower than limpet farming with relogging. Not saying it's more fun, but it's the more efficient way. No contest at all.
Lots. When hyperdicted turn Flight Assist off and boost. When the field disables your ship you should remain far enough for the Thargoid not to attack. Practice it for a bit with no cargo so you don't get killed if you mess it up.Noob questions:
1, Which ship can survive a hyperdiction with guardian stuff onboard, and without a neutraliser? Only the Cutter, or there are other ships capable to escape with speed+shield+masslock+luck combo? Does it worth to try with f.e. a Clipper or an Orca build?
Maybe even some ship mounted hoover attachmentHopefuly the guardian ground hover limpet is released to tech broker after the thargoids die this month.. then it will be 100% collection rate...
I thought a grappling hook. and you work it like those grabber games in the arcades.Maybe even some ship mounted hoover attachment
O7
Not in my experience you always get some that crash, ive experimented with lots (12+) and just 2 with no difference in success rates. Can you get over 100% return rate with limpets if you fire less so at least one limpet gets multiple cargo items?
yep only if you fire less limpets and park at another location completely then allow limpet to do way more than 1 to planet run before relog only...Can you get over 100% return rate with limpets if you fire less so at least one limpet gets multiple cargo items?
