FUDster claims only whales can enjoy SC's irrecoverable performance and impossible lack of gameplay loops...

Oh wait no. It's just long-term backer Camural pointing out a range of physics bugs, and some disappointments with the project. So easy to get those things confused...

If you try the game during freefly, the pvp is not representative of how it is outside of freefly. During freefly, pvp is almost with no consequence because almost no regular player put bounties on other players, too much one shot players doing random stuff with no intent to play regularly. In fact a lot of regular players don't play during freefly. Outside of freefly, if you play like a jerk you get quickly some bounties on your head that calm you down. You even have guys loving killing jerk free of charge...
So are freefly testers LittleAnt-certified testers, or is it best waiting until not freefly to become LittleAnt-certified testers?

How so?

I'm not the one reporting posts to get them removed remember.

For someone so found of dishing out you sure have a hard time taking it.

Which, to surprise of nobody, seems a common trait of the "push everything sc bad" camp.

Oh the many times we were asure here that the company was disbanding. That only whales enjoyed the game due to sunk cost falacy. That the flight model is no clip. That performance was irrecoverable and the game impossible to play. There are no gameplay loops. No quality whatsoever in the game and lo and behold comes the wave of refugees exposing a completely different reality.

Understandably it's been a busy easy year for the "sc bad camp" as they have to rebuild the narrative. Which I have zero problem with, just don't try to shun out those who don't buy it. ;)
It's rare that i ever show my pub friends (who frankly think any forum chat is incredibly sad) a forum/reddit conversation but you earned this one, and it proved as priceless as a Mastercard transaction

To repeat what they said of the forum comment, within language filters:
"omg, hahahahaahaha"
"holy poop, you talk to broken people like this?"
"nooo, that's a parody? It isn't? Nooo, people can't be that broken"
"is this that thing where idiots spent thousands of £££ for dreaming that aren't happening? That's seriously a thing?"
"he's not a real lieutenant is he, at best a private. An officer would have better sense"
"lieutenant dan lost his legs being a hero. What did this pretender ever do?"

I love my friends :ROFLMAO:

Meanwhile, here's Chris testing Star Citizen

Wonder if @LTNTDan would address some of these Camural comments without having to mention ED in the SC thread for once too? Is long time backer and fan Camural also having a busy easy year in the "sc bad camp" and had to rebuild his "narrative"?

Interesting. Bigger SC streamers get a ship package to giveaway approx every patch. Sometimes of significant $$$ value.

(Naturally one of the streamers dies from a bug during the explanation ;))

(Original convo here)
CIG actually giving streamers in game items with real monetary value ("sometimes really expensive") in exchange for promotion? Please say it aint so. Wonder how many of those actually end up as keepers. @LTNTDan Any opinions on the matter without having to mention ED in the SC thread perhaps?

Just two months ago, Chris Roberts said:

It's true they are still "planning" to do so. As of July 14th.
I never read that letter until now, the following caught my eye :
We are now only months away from opening the two new offices, both of which will create world-class collaboration spaces and house our ever-growing team. Our new studio in the UK will deliver 90,000 sq ft of state-of-the-art creative studio space over the top three floors of Manchester Goods Yard, as well as two stages in the adjacent Manchester Studios and Bonded Warehouse complex; a dedicated motion / performance capture 4,500 sq ft stage with a suite of changing rooms, a green room, machine room, scanning room and a viewing gallery along with a smaller stage for Global Video Production which will have a dedicated set and be well set up for filming a vast array of content for Star Citizen and later on Squadron 42’s launch.
How much motion/performance capture is there to be done/re-done that it warrants a dedicated 4,500 sq ft stage ? Unless they lease it out to other organisations, surely that is just to pander to Chris's Hollywood aspirations ? Those funds could have been used for sorting out server meshing!

Are the shiney Manchester offices now open, are there any interior pictures?

Always have I think, and it's not fantasy to imagine this worth of broken pixels are added to the fund tracker

Being called noise, and trimming the scope of the roadmap, followed by an increase in funding, in the midst of a multi-year global pandemic, a war, an energy crisis and inflation , at the brink of a recession, is quite the humbling experience. I've never seen anything like it.

It's humbling and re-assuring at the same time.

When people say "glacial development", I can't help but realize how profoundly fitting that description is, for is there a force of nature that could ever stop a glacier from moving, however slow it might feel?

That is CIG, and Star Citizen is the growing tree that we all share our lives with.

:ROFLMAO:🤪
