Minor Improvements

So, what would be some good MINOR improvements to the game? Nothing too big or obvious (i.e. being able to walk around your ship), but small things that most people don't notice. Also, no bug fixes, as they never should have existed.

Here is what I have so far:

*Put people inside the little control towers at each landing pad in the Starports.
*For Outposts: Display the type of outpost (i.e. civilian, commercial, scientific, etc.) on the System Map.
*Put people in the empty chairs in certain ships, like the Anaconda (They do not have to have functionality, they can just be for decoration).
*Make all regular paint jobs for ships available to buy with in-game money, and just keep the special edition ones as purchasable with real money.

Warming to this one Posh!

You are a dirty man! How can you treat pretty women as decoration, you pig? Oh, wait... Need to rethink myself...

I never said it would be a woman, just a person. It could be a Thargoid for all I care, I just hate having those empty seats.

the ability to plot a course, so you don't need to set a jump location in every system.

Couldn't agree more.

Have the Nav panel use the same icons for various station and outpost types as the System Map, instead of everything having the Coriolis one.

I would love to have a graphic overview of my ship, which shows all the weapons/equipment/status of equipment AND the insurance I would have to pay ...

- Being able to view the ships before buying them (not this hologram, the actual ship in the hangar or something)

- A little warning if you are about to abort your mission

- Being able to put Modules into your cargo room. That way you could help a friend by buying him stuff or buy a laser for your combatship that is stationed somewhere else.

- a little notice if the mission you want to accept gives you less than 20 minutes of time

I`m not sure if this has been fixed... a problem I had with my basic Sidewinder:

When transport missions are marked as "Available", the computer should allready calculate if I will be able to fullfill the mission, when I load the cargo...

I often accepted missions to transport 4t of A to B... and had to cancel the missions, because my jumprange was reduced by the cargo...

+1 for that, was thinking to suggest that either (but i thought is so oblivious that it will be in the gamma anyway)

Station activity. Yes, there is a fairly steady stream of ships going in and out. However, I think there should also be some ships loitering around the station, bounty hunters scanning for wanted ships just outside the no fire zone. Perhaps even some of those loitering would have some firehouse sales on rare equipment or cargo.
