Having played it since 2014 i can say its waaaay easier to get credits now than it was originally.

Seriously, in the handful of months I've been playing since I got back into the game this year, I went from "guy who had a few medium and small A-rated ships and middling cash" to "1.4 billion cash on hand, one of each of the Big Three plus other ships, partial engineering on everything." The velocity of that progression was astonishing to me.

Well in which case they should make it timed so CMDRs can learn about gravity braking, SC assist Full Stop etc.

and then completion gives you 20% off your first purchases, or a decal or something. This makes it optional but gives you a reward of you choose to compete it.

I didn't miss it, so much as I didn't do it because I'm a filthy casual and, IIRC, was on a deep Cyberpunk 2077 Tiny Tina's Wonderlands kick.

But I did do a looooot of bert hauling in Brani for FC owners.
